Returning to DW

Hi, I am not new to DW either, but recently returned. My name is Astrid and I am a multiple, hence my handle Astridetal. My interests include psychology, psychiatry, mental health and disability rights advocacy, politics (Dutch as I'm from the Netherlands) and social justice in general. So far, my journal is mostly personal however. I am looking mostly for people who are friendly towards people with mental health problems, as I write about those.

Baking. History. Science. Mythology.
I also have a thing for retro fashion/art, and weird combinations of "old" and "modern", like dieselpunk, steampunk, psychobilly, neo-noir and awful kitschy stuff from the 50s.

Films: Sci-fi, thriller, mystery, suspense. (Eg. Animal Kingdom, Minority Report.)
TV Shows: Sherlock, Wallander, The IT Crowd, Red Dwarf.
Books: Waayyyyy too many to list. Some of my favourite authors are China Mieville, Tolkien, Pratchett, Gaiman, P.G. Wodehouse & Mervyn Peake.
Music: I tend to like dark ambient, experimental, minimalist classical, indie, folk and metal.

HOBBIES: Writing, writing, writing! Drawing. Hunting through second-hand stores and op shops for bargains.
