Returning to DW

Hi, I am not new to DW either, but recently returned. My name is Astrid and I am a multiple, hence my handle Astridetal. My interests include psychology, psychiatry, mental health and disability rights advocacy, politics (Dutch as I'm from the Netherlands) and social justice in general. So far, my journal is mostly personal however. I am looking mostly for people who are friendly towards people with mental health problems, as I write about those.

I've never heard of the term "multiple" before. What does that mean?

Hi, multiple is short for multiple personality. I have a diagnosis fo dissociative identity disorder, but there are also people who consider themselves born multiple, and they often do not like the term "multiple peprsonality" as they say all the people that share their body are individuals. I consider myself a pretty ordinary DID case.
