INTERESTS: old movies from the 1930s, 40s, and 50s. I love anything from Ginger Rogers, Cary Grant, James Stewart, Jean Harlow, William Powell, Vivien Leigh, Clark Gable, and Lucille Ball. I also love Disney. I love Lucy, Bewitched, anything vintage. I love animals, music, and the beach. I am a major fan of Titanic, Harry Potter, Slytherin, Kate Winslet, Keira Knightley, Nicole Kidman, Moulin Rouge, Gilmore Girls, The OC, Pretty Little Liars ( I am obsessed), Drop Dead Diva, helping people, the color pink, tumblr, and twitter.

Hey everyone! Things have been quiet on my flist lately, so I thought I'd give things a try here! I posted once before last November (I think), but it was under a previous account.

NAME: Robby

AGE: 26

INTERESTS: Basically a Japan nerd. I study the language, and I like all sorts of Japanese things. Comics, animation, games, music and literature all being included. I like non-Japanese and non-Asian things too, of course. If you want to know more about more specific likes, I recommend checking out my profile and/or recent public entries. I won't bother to list them here.

HOBBIES: Studying Japanese, liking Japanese things, FOOD, reading, playing games, sleeping, liking the idea of travel, nostalgia, being lazy.

LOOKING FOR: Nice people. People of like minds. People who update at least semi-frequently. People who are children at heart but know how to turn on the adult when needed. Non-trolly types. Etc.

ANYTHING ELSE?: I've been an LJ user since late 2003 and have been also doing DW regularly since last November/December. I love this format and I update multiple times a week. I've been living in Japan since fall 2009 and I talk alot about my life here, naturally. I LOVE the city I live in (Osaka!) and I generally enjoy life in Japan, so if hearing about that kind of thing interests you, feel free to add me! My life isn't terribly exciting, but it is what it is.
