I am most likely to move from LJ to DW (I am a DW newbie), therefore it would be nice to get to know some people and having some reading material here as well.

27, German woman, married to a Japanese. I have been living near Tokyo since 2007(and yes, I was home when the earthquake occured...hiding under a table). No children, but 2 cats since June.

Well, I am not really into Anime, Manga & J-Music that much. If I find something interesting fine, but it is not like I am searching for something new the whole time. I used to like a Japanese band called D'espairsray a lot, but the rest of the J-Rock bands sound pretty same to me ;D
There are also some things I dislike or I don´t care about, but let's skip it.

I post whenever I want. Every day, 2-3x a week, once a week, once in 2 weeks - it depends on my mood and free time.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME: An ex-Nuclear Health Physicist and part-time web developer seeking a career change. Thus I retired from that trade and find myself baking biscuits. I'm a full-time student for a double major in Computer Science & Philosophy. I'm agnostic, though I tread mostly on the atheist aspect of life. Although I constantly ask metaphysical questions, by no means am I spiritual. I should also warn that me and girl are heavily into the S&M lifestyle (read: Master/Slave) and I do discuss this on occasion, so an open-mind in this regard is required if you wish to befriend me.

In my free time I love watching movies of all kinds (probably my favourite type though are horror movies - I'm a member of a Horror Group). I watch quite a lot of TV and I also read a lot and collect comic-books

I've been on Dreamwidth since September and met some really awesome people on here, but it is always good to make new friends!

I'm a friendly guy, who is easy enough to get along with. I don't comment on every entry, but I always read everything.

Most of my entries are just about me and my daily life.

Hello everybody,

I am Rina. I am 27 years old, female, living in Cologne which is located in Germany, and I just joined Dreamwidth (obviously :D) ... I am truly grateful I found a new home here. ^ ^

Since I don*t want to spend my days here alone, and since I really need some "food" (as in, something to read), and since it would also be nice to get to know nice people while searching for the latter, I figured I should give it a try and post my requests here.

But first, a little more about me :

* Currently, I am studying musicology and Japanese studies at university.
* I am a huge fan of anything having to do with MUSIC - both listening to it and making it.
* I am also a huge fan of being creative in general - but mainly drawing and writing in general ... :)
* I am also a language-addict. My native language is GERMAN, but I can also speak [at least a little of ...] the following : English, French, Finnish, Spanish, Japanese, and Turkish. I*d love to teach myself Bislama~.
* Esoteric and the paranormal mean a lot to me. If people ask me for my religion, I*ll say I am an agnostic [the ones most interesting to me are paganism [The entire broad subject ... At least partly ;D.] and buddhism.].
* Traveling! I forgot to list traveling!! How could I? :D I love it, really. The last place I traveled to was Paris ... On my own ... ^^
* I have got one cat called Lumi*. He means a lot to me. ♥
* I share this flat with my dear sister Meian*.
* When not being on the net or working on creative projects, I mostly listen to music, or I read, or I sleep ...

It's great to see so many of you coming over from LJ! It has been quiet here (but we do have cookies/biscuits)

I live in the UK, I like to watch Doctor Who, Torchwood and tacky late night sci fi. I also love Eastenders and Strictly Come Dancing!! My fave comedians are Izzard and Minchin.

I am a mature student studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics, I like to rant and ramble on those subjects so it is good to be learning actual facts too!

I am a bit older than most on here but I am young at heart and rather eccentric, no kids, I have 2 nephews and a niece.

I love kitties and horses and I collect bears.

My name is Kristen & I'm a 27 year old woman living in Chicago. I'm married & I live w/ my husband and our 2 cats (romeo & rocko) in the northwest 'burbs of Chicago. I work as a customer service rep & I actually like my job. :)

I'm a recent transplant from LJ. I'm still posting there regularly, but I'm starting to cross post from this journal. I really really miss LJ in its hey day and I would *love* to make some new friends here!

I am also a hopeless tv addict. I watch it all but I love True Blood, Deadliest Catch (Keith is a jerk!), Empire Boardwalk, House, Game of Thrones, Storage Wars, Pawn Stars, Hardcore Pawn, practically any reality tv.

I'm a very easy going friendly person. I mostly write about the day-to-day stuff in my journal. I use LJ/DW as a journal to record my daily thoughts & musings. Some days are less interesting than others. ;)

I write very freqently, sometimes 2x a day. I'm a decent commenter, I think comments are fun. <3
