Hello everybody,

I am Rina. I am 27 years old, female, living in Cologne which is located in Germany, and I just joined Dreamwidth (obviously :D) ... I am truly grateful I found a new home here. ^ ^

Since I don*t want to spend my days here alone, and since I really need some "food" (as in, something to read), and since it would also be nice to get to know nice people while searching for the latter, I figured I should give it a try and post my requests here.

But first, a little more about me :

* Currently, I am studying musicology and Japanese studies at university.
* I am a huge fan of anything having to do with MUSIC - both listening to it and making it.
* I am also a huge fan of being creative in general - but mainly drawing and writing in general ... :)
* I am also a language-addict. My native language is GERMAN, but I can also speak [at least a little of ...] the following : English, French, Finnish, Spanish, Japanese, and Turkish. I*d love to teach myself Bislama~.
* Esoteric and the paranormal mean a lot to me. If people ask me for my religion, I*ll say I am an agnostic [the ones most interesting to me are paganism [The entire broad subject ... At least partly ;D.] and buddhism.].
* Traveling! I forgot to list traveling!! How could I? :D I love it, really. The last place I traveled to was Paris ... On my own ... ^^
* I have got one cat called Lumi*. He means a lot to me. ♥
* I share this flat with my dear sister Meian*.
* When not being on the net or working on creative projects, I mostly listen to music, or I read, or I sleep ...
* That*s all! ^^

Now on to you :); I*d love it if you were ...

* ... very open-minded, and not at all angry if I post something about the subjects listed above.
* ... tolerant, i. e. you have nothing against anything. I expect intolerance against people destroying others* lives, though.
* ... animal-loving.
* ... not angry if I post many, many different subjects randomly, even in one paragraph. I try not to do that, but ... It happens. And for me, there are connections, so ... This is to warn you :D!
* ... happy to talk a lot about music.
* ... sensitive, and compassionate.
* ... funny! Or at least not minding my weird sense of humour sometimes.

we have a lot in common, and i'm def. interested in adding you - but i've got a few things against some things. as long as if by "open-minded" you mean the real life definition and not the internet definition of "accepting of furries/plurals/craziness-of-the-week" - we'll do just fine.

Hi! I'm open-minded, tolerant, funny and addicted to music. In a somewhat different way than most people: I can live a couple of days w/o music, then listen to something for a whole day. Personal achievement: listen to Paramore >2000 times *check*

I haven't spoken with a Musicologist since my last attempt at Music History in the Fall of 2010.

そして。。。　:P I studied a little bit of Japanese around the turn of the millennium when I was rather younger.

You definitely seem like my kind of person! I look for people who are open-minded and compassionate, too. I love music and I'm Pagan, so clearly the paranormal and alternative religions interest me. Also, my grandmother and that entire side of my family is German, so I'm really interested in Germany, and the German culture and language. Oh and yes, I am an animal lover. Friends?
