INTERESTS & HOBBIES: So naturally video games are the primary interest. I enjoy checking out random mobile games and critiquing them (or falling for them hard) since I'm at work a lot. MMORPG's are another longtime passion of mine. I am six years into Final Fantasy XIV while I've recently picked up World of Warcraft and Phantasy Star Online 2 again. I keep a relatively up to date list in the interests section of my user profile. The most notable ones though are:

I recently adopted a feral kitten during our last ice storm a few weeks ago so I will likely write a fair bit about raising her. I haven't had a pet since I was eighteen so this is exciting!

ENTRIES: I tend to write about my life, what I'm up to in various video games, and thoughts on anything I've recently watched. I write an entry usually once a day when I'm at work and sometimes when I'm home for the weekend, though that is rare.

LOOKING FOR: Echoing the 'ol days of LiveJournal sentiment. I have been writing on various journal sites for years and miss gabbing away in comment threads. Since I work odd hours, connecting through journaling is easier for me than using social media. That and algorithms tend to work against my interests somehow so I prefer to read things in the order they are posted on my friends list.

Personally uses a max width limit of 600 pixels on the images I post.

Regularly uses content warnings, please make any lesser triggers known so I can help you.

Entries tend to bounce from subject to subject often separated by images, journal cut tags, or dividers.

I'm more of a Nintendo fan, and not really into RPGs for the most part. never thought I'd play any MMO, but then I picked up Old School RuneScape, and it changed my life. lmao

Hey there!

Nintendo has some great stuff and RuneScape, whew. That brings me back. I can't recall anything from it since it's been years since I last touched it, but I can appreciate the conversation surrounding it. Every time I hear that it's still about, I'm impressed. That has to be one of the longest running MMO's around. It'll be nice to hear about it and anything else you are getting up to.

I've only been playing OSRS for a little over 2 years now, but it's like, my favorite thing ever. I've even purchased merch. 2 keychains and a mouse pad. wanna buy a mug in the future. would like a shirt or 2 or more, but I like my clothes really big, and they don't sell above 2X most of the time.
if you look back at old posts, I've written a lot of words about some games I played... I've not had the mental energy for that recently, but I do note anything I've been playing.

Hello, I’m also into BuJo (and other such things) and T RPGs and LARP (when there isn’t a pandemic on). I do a bit on the electronic gaming front (including an interesting in writing interactive fiction), but that’s currently a bit on hold while other parts of my life take focus.

My journal is currently access only, but I mostly post about life and such. I recently moved from central London to a House in the Woods, and have been posting a loooot of “out of my front door” photos.

Scrapbooking is so much fun and it feels as though BuJo is the evolution of such even if it the purpose originally stemmed from elsewhere. Guess it helps that there's nicer books for the process available nowadays too. I can't wait to see some of your pages and hopefully I will be brave enough to share some of mine in the future.

(I'm mostly faced with the dilemma of presentation. They're not so easily photographed then shared online.)

Hi! Another 30+ gamer here. I write about whatever's caught my interest for the moment, mostly studies/interests and game progress and such along with general life stuff. Currently posting about once or twice a week, about half locked.

Hi! I'm only in my early 20s, and I'm not sure what you're comfortable with, but I was hoping to get back into using this site, mostly for journaling. I'm into video games (PS4, PC, Switch), and I just started playing some WoW again after the new update. From your list, I also play games from the Animal Crossing series and Pokemon, and more recently I've been trying to beat the Final Fantasy games in order (which isn't going to be easy).

I also watch anime and read manga when I have the time. My MyAnimeList username is "cathugger" if you want to check if we're into similar things. I still have a lot to watch/read.

Another thing we might have in common is being into bullet journaling and related stuff! I've been trying to get back into it lately. I'm hoping to get my new bujo set up by the start of January.

Kittens/cats are exciting!! My partner and I have been fostering two kittens, and it's been wonderful. I hope things go well with your new kitten!

I deeply respect those who foster, too! That's probably one reason I'm doing it. I'm not experienced at it either considering this is my first and only time fostering. Not getting too attached to the cats is definitely difficult.

About the bujo, I'll probably use it like a planner with some other stuff mixed in. (I still haven't really planned it out yet.) Have you been actively bullet journaling? If so, how do you use yours?

Oooh, what data center are you on in FFXIV? I'm on Crystal, and have three characters, one each on Coeurl, Brynhildr, and Goblin. I've been playing for a little over a year and love it to pieces. My main is just starting Shadowbringers and I couldn't be more excited.

I would like to add you to my DW circle! I'm in my mid forties, and I post several times a week and read my reading page numerous times a day. My journal is a mix of squeeing about video games, talking about crafts (I knit and crochet, and will be starting to weave soon), and introspection. Lots and lots of introspection. I see a therapist weekly and usually write about our sessions and do a lot of general figuring out this life thing. Most of my current entries are access-locked though I try to post the video game/craft stuff publicly.

If this all sounds cool, feel free to add me. I won't be offended if you want to take a pass though.

Thank you for doing such important work. It takes a special person to work with the elderly. I live with my parents so there's a fair bit of talking about dealing with aging parents in my journal as well. It's not easy.

Whew, hello there and sorry for the delay in responding to this. The weekend got away from me.

I play primarily on Aether right now, but I also have alts on various other data centers including Crystal! Coeurl was the first server I ever played on back in the day when ARR first launched so it's odd to think of it as Crystal now instead of Aether admittedly.

( though i'm behind, i'm still playing stormblood ) you seem really interesting. i mostly just write about my life and my updates tend to be once or twice a month max but i still read my reading page and comment. i've lead sort of a traumatic life so i don't think your darker posts will bother me.
