I'm glad you've finally got some solidarity with it! I have several friends with a similar story there, and it's always so unfortunate. Knowing what's going on, though, is the best way to begin working with it!

I agree, I can't explain how relieved I felt when my psychiatrist said 'autism' like it all slotted into place.

Yeah, it finally gives the resources necessary to cope. I was diagnosed young, thankfully, but I really don't know where I'd be if I hadn't been.
