INTERESTS AND HOBBIES: Gardening, the occult, the paranormal, tarot, paganism, nerdy stuff like World of Warcraft and various indie games, mlp, the most eclectic mishmash of music (if it exists I probably like it), lgbt related things particularly where it involves lesbian and woman-loving-woman culture, art, webcomics, youtubers, nature photos, and the like.
I'm particularly fond of roleplaying and I might occasionally post about my roleplaying exploits within the World of Warcraft. I also post a bit about mental illness and chronic illness, mostly because my journal pertains to my everyday life and that affects my everyday life. I've been working on developing my penchant for sapphic poems (as in, poems in the format used by Sappho of Lesbos, not stereotypical at all lol) but I probably won't be posting those for a while.

LOOKING FOR: Almost anyone! I really like meeting new people and if other people post slice of life stuff and are interested in my particular brand of eclectic hobbies, then I'd love to hear from you!

Homestuck and Ava's Demon are the ones I've been reading right now, regardless of their issues in both. I'm about halfway through my second readthrough with the former and a bit behind on the latter.

Be warned, if you decide to take on Homestuck it's a pretty involved megalith that's currently the longest work in the English language. Lol. Eva's Demon also deals with mature, kinda shocking themes at times.

XKCD has always been close to my heart for it's witty humor and bizarre ability to make stick figures expressive, and the art at times is downright beautiful in dealing with subjects of science, mathematics, and the like.

OGLAF is very nsfw but also very hilarious. They have a number of SFW strips but since THOSE are the ones that have the warning, just know what you're getting into if you decide to click anything else. It mostly involves parodying fantasy settings.

Witchy is also very good, it's a fantasy comic that takes place in a world where magical ability is based on hair length.

Those are just a few that I've enjoyed. I used to read other comics some years ago, but a lot of them disappeared with the passage of time.

I can't get into homestuck after what I've seen in the fandom. Looking into Eva's Demon now and I'm really digging it.

I think I've read Witchy before and let it continue so I can go back and read a batch of chapters at a time.

I got maybe a third of the way through Homestuck before my internet gave out, and now I'm just waiting to get a better connection so I can reread and finally finish it. Hussie is a hilarious writer, did you read his Problem Sleuth series too? Someone bought me the book on a whim and I laughed so hard I almost choked a few times.

I actually never got around to Problem Sleuth but that's next on my list! A lot of people didn't like the ending of Homestuck, but I did. :)

I usually don't comment in this group (in fact, this might be my first comment), but I just wanted to say that you sound really cool (not to mention that I LOVE YOUR LOOK). Anyway, I'll probably try subscribing to you if you don't mind. We have some similarities, but I don't expect you to subscribe to me or anything (honest).

Although I haven't posted about them much, some of my interests are also games (including WoW on-and-off... I never got too into it but know people who have played it almost nonstop for many years), LGBTQ+ things, art, music, etc. All interests swap around, though. I also might pick a new one up if it sounds interesting. Still trying to find a sense of self.

Many of my posts are about chronic illness (physical and mental) because it's a dominant force in my life right now. A lot of it can be negative, so I can understand not following me for that reason. (Might put a filter on it.)

I relate on the chronic illness thing. Many of my posts include whining about mine, lol. So I'd be a bit of a hypocrite if that put me off. :P

Oh, I'm on Bloodscalp. It's always been my friends' main realm, so I ended up there, too, and don't really play enough to be on multiple servers at the moment.

And okay! Hearing from others with chronic illness can be really refreshing for me because it can make the situation a lot less... lonely? So, yeah, feel free to post about that as much as you want!

It's always good to have contacts with those who just 'get it'. It surely helped me feel much less alone and hearing about other peoples' problems actually helped me get a diagnosis for one of mine that'd been a mystery for years. Always recommend it. :)

Yeah! It was about some teens/young adults who accidentally bring about the end of the world. It gets pretty intense, so I had to slow down at some parts with the grittier themes.
