Hello! Like many of you, I have just moved over from LJ, where I had been posting since 2000 (although very little in the last couple of years). I really want to get back into journaling and honestly, this is much more interesting than Facebook. My plan is to update DW regularly (I've already posted more in the past week than in the past couple of years on LJ, so I am cautiously optimistic that this is a feasible plan).
My interests are varied, but I am first and foremost a voracious reader. I'm always happy to see what others are reading and to add new books to read to my never ending list. Other interests include movies, Doctor Who, Netflix, TV, traveling and music. I love Doctor Who, but other than the occasional comment, I won't be clogging up your pages with it. I'm more likely to bore you with my reading.
My journal is friends only because I'm not a fan of drama. Other than that, what can I say? I'm a liberal Canadian woman and feminist. I rarely get political online because I'm a firm believer of "do not feed the trolls". Life is short, and I don't want to spend it arguing with people.

Also slowly migrating from LJ. I'm a big reader too, and my journal is mostly about my day to day stuff - I try to get away a couple times a year on some sort of trip - which involves loads of photos of said locations, when I return!
Born near Vancouver, BC, I've been transplanted to Northern California for 17 years, but I still have all my family back in Canada!

I am an avid reader too (when time allows it) and I too have a huge list of books I want to read and yet I am always the one who asks constantly "Have you read a good book in the last time?"
My journal is pretty random and I like way too many things so my interests on my profil don't give much away. And I am not that best when it comes to introducing myself (unless you throw surveys at me)

I am sure some are kind of shocked when they see in my journal how much I can write at once xD
But then not being able to introduce myself was also my problem in school and still at work I can barely put five sentences about me together .__.
