Introduction: Hello, friends! I created this account originally when I thought LiveJournal may go dark due to the war, but I couldn't get into it. I tried a second time a few months ago, and again, it just didn't feel right. I suppose it correlates with my inability to stomach change well. However, I'm here and ready to stay! Please, if you tried to add me previously and felt I just immediately ghosted, feel free to add me again. I promise I'm going to give this a honest try. I even paid for this account. I'm not as flakey as I sound, I just... Change is hard for me.

That all being said, if you have any tips and tricks to help with the transition, please let me know. I'm still figuring out the difference between subscribe and access lists. I also want to customize my layout to more accurately reflect me and who I am.

Posting Style: I use online journaling as a way to connect with others with similar mindsets & interests while also documenting the moments in my life, no matter how large or small. My day-to-day life consists of my hobbies with some work-related rants here and there. There's a quote by Louisa May Alcott that I love, "Preserve your memories, keep them well, what you forget you can never retell."

I try to post daily, but at least every other day. I don't expect my friends to always have something to say and therefore do not expect interactions on every single post due to how often I post. I do read and comment my friends pages just as often.

My hobbies are: abandoned buildings, camping, dog training, disc golf, gardening, hiking, homesteading, nature walks, paranormal, photography, reading, travel, and video games (presently playing:animal crossing, diablo 4, pokemon go but also enjoy: spyro, ratchet & clank, sea of thieves, world of warcraft).

I'm looking to meet people who: are looking to make geniune connections. We don't need to have everything in common, but I do ask that if you do add me, that you're not a conservative bigot that spews more hate than love.

When I add people, my dealbreakers are: negative people that don't at least try to make positive changes in their life.

Before adding me, you should know: About 80% of my posts typically come with a photo (or five), but I do try to write more than I show.

<p><b>I mostly post about:</b></p> Life. My journal is exactly that- a journal. You'll hear about everything that I feel comfortable sharing. 

 

<p><b>My hobbies are:</b></p> Writing fanfic/original fic (mostly femslash), taking care of my cats, knitting, playing The Sims, trying to keep my cactus alive, reading, listening to music, watching TV and movies, and fangirling.

 

<p><b>My fandoms are:</b></p> I'm not properly apart of any fandoms, but I dabble very casually. Some favorites: MCU, Florence Pugh, Lady Gaga, 'Victorious', Liz Gillies, Sabrina Carpenter, Ariana Grande, 'Supernatural', 'The Golden Girls', 'Girl Meets World'. These are the only ones I keep current, casual tabs on. I watch a lot of TV and movies, so I'll mention them on occasion. Fandom doesn't have the appeal it once had for me, so I usually don't get involved unless trying to find friends to chat with about said fandom; and even then I'm still a casual observer. I'm getting into reading more and so I'll probably talk about that as well.

I read everything and may send a DM or comment on occasion, but I don't comment on everything despite reading it all. I talk about my physical and mental health struggles often. Every day life. That could be work, a place I'm travelling to (pleasure or work), a thing that's going on in my town, a movie, or a concert. I might post more "deep" stuff (or a rant), but I'm quite introverted and I just really want to re-start blogging more than hijacking your attention with my own issues

My hobbies are:

Reading, listening to music, movies, going to concerts, hiking, visiting new places, learning Italian

My fandoms are:

I'm not crazy about fandom, but I really like Star Trek (TOS, TNG, DS9, Picard) and LOTR. Not going to be the main topic of all my posts, though.
I love 80s music. Well, music in general.

I'm looking to meet people who:

Wants to get back into blogging. Who misses the early 2000's LJ community?
Also, if you speak/post in Italian, I would love to read you as I'm trying to learn/improve my use of it.

No hate, no drama, no bigotry. Also, if I feel someone's posts are affecting me, I will unfollow them as I can be extremely sensitive and I take care of my mental health very seriously. Not trying to be selfish, just honest.

Before adding me, you should know: English is not my first language (which is Spanish). I live in UK. In addition to finding it quite hard to keep up with a hobby, I have a very busy schedule at work and that might interfere with my consistency.
