hello, lovely people of the cyberspace-- i'm amma, i'm 18 and i'd love to have some people added who resonate with me. i use this site to journal everyday, i sit down and type out whatever comes to mind, usually for about half an hour. a lot of my entries are about depression and mental health, so huge and heavy trigger warning if you're sensitive to that kinda stuff. i'm new to this site and blogging in general, so please be patience (or face my wrath)

besides that, i like to make rave jewelry (kandi, maybe i'll post some pictures on my page someday), dabble in vocal synthesis (like vocaloid, y'know, hatsune miku?), drawing on occasion, writing/reading, and i love cats.

my current fandom is the minecraft youtuber fandom, though, i only really care about wilbur soot. my long term fandom is the beatles :D

support would be lovely and greatly appreciated, but not entirely necessary. i've always adored sites like this that have traces of the old net still lurking about. i'm envious of you guys who got to grow up in the 90s/00s!

Hello. I'm trying to get back into the habit of updating here more as I miss it, but it's difficult to feel motivated without the community feeling. I'm looking for people with shared interests to talk to and hopefully connect with and form genuine friendships.

I'm in my late 20s and I'm European. I have a degree in illustration, and I enjoy journaling/planners and get excited over stationary, I'm learning to knit, I like web coding and building early 00's style websites on Neocities (I'm hoping to study for a masters in this area soon), playing The Sims 4 and Animal Crossing, and building Legos.

I'm passionate about musical theater, and my favorite musicians are My Chemical Romance and Elvis Presley. I love reading (mostly horror and classics) and watching movies (I'll watch pretty much anything tbh). My ideal vacation is to a Disney park, so far I've been to Paris, Tokyo, Anaheim and Orlando. I love whimsy.

I mostly post about things I do, stuff I create, places I travel, shows I see, media I consume, and introspection. I think of my blog as a memory keeper rather than a stream of consciousness, but sometimes it's both. I prefer to keep my difficulties private. I don't have any posting schedule - it might be everyday, it might be once a month, but I visit my reading page daily.

I find it very difficult to connect with people who only post about their children as I'm not on that path. I appreciate everyone struggles from time to time, but I don't enjoy reading depressing rants on a day to day basis either.

My journal is my safe space, and I subscribe to Thumper's philosophy: "If you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all."

Been a while since I posted here and I've seen a bit of a lull in my reading list so here goes!

I mostly post about: Generally I post about whatever I’m reading at the time. Sometimes I watch shows but my time is pretty limited as it is because of work (I’m a teacher) so that doesn’t happen often. Whenever I can, I play games so I’ll also post about that. And my cats! I have two older girls and two kittens that’ll be turning a year old in October.

My hobbies are: book-binding, video games (currently into Cult of the Lamb), paper-making, junk journaling, writing.

My fandoms are: sporadic at best. For the most part I’m not very active in fandom but I’m not a stranger to them. I generally tend to stay on the fringes of it all and won’t engage much beyond fanfic reading and occasional writing when the mood strikes.

I'm looking to meet people who: Anyone at this point! I like reading about other people’s lives be it what media they’re consuming or what they’re reading or what they had for lunch. I wouldn’t mind fandom people but not a deal-breaker if you’re not into that.

My posting schedule tends to be: weekly on Saturdays! I’ll check my reading page on the same day but I’m trying to get into the habit of checking during the week.

When I add people, my dealbreakers are: homophobia, racism, sexism. People who don’t use cuts for pictures and break my reading page…
