INTERESTS: The music group AAA, Japanese culture and language, The Lies of Locke Lamora, Chinese culture and language, The Amazing Race, Lord of the Rings (books and movies), Harry Potter (books and movies), Last Exile series, and much much much more! (You'd be reading a novel if I wrote everything down!)
HOBBIES: Acting, directing, writing (novels, scripts, poems, etc.), writing music and lyrics, playing oboe, roleplaying, traveling, learning new languages, blogging, meeting new people, laughing, playing tennis and volleyball, website design and maintenance, admin-ing communities and taking care of members, etc.
LOOKING FOR: To be honest, I have two journals--a private one and then this one, which is my public friending journal!! (^-^) I've been on Dreamwidth for well over a year now and have loved every minute of it, so I am simply looking for people who wanna make friends and just be journal buddies. Nothing too serious -- just light and fun! There are some great folks here on DW!!!

--> I am a big Japanophile--but not for anime and manga, haha. Even though I like them, I like Japanese pop culture and traditional culture far more <3
I'll be honest and admit that I try to keep too much of my personal life out of this journal, but I do talk about real life experiences, some fandom things (such as for the community I run), some fun things (I've started something of a style blog, for instance!), and definitely....I do talk about my life in Japan! I've lived there for a year and a few months (I was there during the big quake, though I was not one of the people who returned to my home country--I stayed alongside my Japanese friends), and since I will return there again shortly, I'll definitely be sharing my experiences. I can post some pictures too! (^_^)v I really love people (as proven by the community I co-run) and love trying to make others smile! (It's such an easy thing to do to make someone's day, doncha think??? (^ ^))
