INTERESTS; Fashion, music (Beatles, George Harrison, Gaga, White Stripes, Adam (and the) Ant(s), the Black Belles, and lots of others), eastern Indian and general Asian culture, cats, jewelery, vintage clothes, DIY, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Community, the Colbert Report, Pokémon, Ace Attorney, skeletons/skulls and stuff (I suspect this is from wanting to be a paleontologist at age six), Jeffrey Campbell shoes, occult things (tarot, crystal healing, et cetera) and the paranormal, Quentin Tarantino films, 4chan shenanigans, and memes/general hilarious things.

LOOKING FOR; People with similar interests that are open minded and have a sense of humour. That's...basically it! If you want to test the waters with a conversation first, I'm cool with that.
ANYTHING ELSE; I'm an Aquarius with a Pisces rising, Hindu (leaning on the Vishnu side of things), queer (and engaged), and weird. I'm going to be going to college for graphic design (hopefully), I run a fashion blog of sorts, and work in fast food until I can find a decent job. I have an aggravating mother that I may or may not post rants about. (But I'll try to keep that to a minimum.) I am from LJ, have been since '04, and am sick of the uptight overly-PC people I keep running into in every other community I join. On the subject of cultural appropriation, I'm all for wearing whatever the heck one pleases. I'm 5'0", 95 lbs without trying, and am comfortable with myself. NAME: Kathryn, though I often prefer Ezra.
AGE: Just turned 20 last week, actually; and I'm very relieved at the prospect that I'm a little bit closer to having people respect me as an equal (maybe). xD
INTERESTS: Music, theology (specifically Hinduism in all its forms), literate roleplays, writing/reading, playing the clarinet (although I've been neglecting mine lately), freshwater aquariums, anatomy, strange facts, Doctor Who, Star Trek, The Beatles, George Harrison, Poets of the Fall, Community, select other fandoms that I can't think of...
HOBBIES: Roleplaying in literate roleplays (seriously, I love both getting inside character's heads, and I love the freedom of writing as ridiculously as I'd like at length~), ocassional graphic- or icon-making, reading, going for walks, shopping with friends.
LOOKING FOR: I don't really like the idea of setting requirements for meeting friends, but I'll only get along with fairly open-minded people. If you tend to post inner ramblings/personal things as well as fandom, we should be fine. :)
ANYTHING ELSE?: I'm a queer female, a licensed massage therapist, and I've often been called a hippie (though I'd like to think I shower more than that). I'm mostly of European descent but I love Eastern religions and philosophies, so if that sort of thing squicks you, turn back now. ;) I had a lot of issues with coming to terms with life/death/the meaning of life when I was younger, and discovering Hinduism and my own 'roots' more has really helped me with that. I love languages and will often either lament the lack of francophones around me, or mention trying to learn another one. I've moved over from LJ in the hopes to get a new start around friendlier people, and to help support a site that's run under better intentions (in keeping with my policy of supporting smaller businesses as opposed to mass corporations).
