Just made the trek over from LJ to scout out the opposition and have zero buddies here - I feel like such a loser!

I'm Torrie and I'm a journalist/ tv producer in my ... ugh, late twenties. I was hoping I'd be at least 32 before I'd have to stop saying mid-twenties, but I'm feeling honest today.

I'm pretty easy-going when it comes to getting to getting on with people - it's just organising my personal life that turns me into a big mess. I fill my blog with random thoughts, work highs and lows and anything that flitters through my mind. Can't say I didn't warn you.

I keep my blog friends-only so that I can be more open about work and stuff, but I'm definitely keen to add some people ... :)

Things I like - open-minded people, keeping up to speed with what's going on in the world, crime dramas on telly, people who make me laugh, sunshine, driving with nowhere to go and lots of other random things. Randomness is good.

My online name is Kalevi, and I'm here from LJ, though I want to maintain both journals. I haven't had this journal for very long, so I'm looking for some friends!

I'm 20 years old, I'm a university student in the US who's majoring in music history and applied music, and I play the bassoon and the oboe. I'm the assistant manager for my school's recital crew, and I also work at McDonald's. And I'm also a bit of a geek. :)

I usually post about my day-to-day activities, but a lot of times I'll post about music (or games or anime) that I like, or I'll rant about work, or I'll show everyone my ponderings about life.

Another thing I like is languages. I'm a native speaker of Chinese, and I'm currently trying to learn Finnish because I'm trying to go study abroad in Finland. I don't normally post entirely in a non-English language, but occasionally a good chunk of my post will be in Finnish.

Just a warning if you care about this: I'm usually pretty horrible about commenting on other peoples' posts. It doesn't mean I'm not reading them (because I do read them), but if I don't really have anything to say at the moment, I usually don't post anything.

Hello all. My name is Andrea ( but most call me Andie ). I'm about to turn 28 next month and have just made the trip over to DW. I'd love to make some friends.

I'm a writer. I love to write poems/lyrics/quotes as well as fiction. I do not write fanfiction. I haven't done that in ages. But I've been writing since I was 15 and have one book published ( though I am so not out there yet ).

I'm really easy going. I love to chat. I'm constantly writing. Though I do warn you all that what I write can be deep or sexual at times, however that is not all I write. I also write in female and male perspectives as I think it broadens my horizons.

Anyway! I'm a full time student, working on my associate's degree. I'm also a mother of a five year old little girl, Lydia. She's my pride and joy. :-D
