Hey there! I'm not an LJ refugee, but with all the recent "immigrants" I figured I might as well come and set something up.
More or less I'm gonna attempt to keep this journal more personal and organized and less fandom-y than my LJ. I like taking pictures of things so there'd be some of that as well, some observations maybe, I don't know what exactly I'm gonna be putting in here but I promise I'll try to keep it... not-awful?

ANYHOW, I'm Kaylee, I'm 17 and female as the name suggests. I live in Canada (Vancouver Island) and I'm currently trying to get out of highschool/looking to attend art school for audio engineering.
Speaking of that I'm pretty passionate about music on a whole, so I'll probably be mentioning that quite a bit. I have faaaaar too many favourite bands to name but some of my favourite genres are electronica, post-rock, glam rock, grime, psychadelic and math rock.
I also love comedy, some of my favourite performers are Dylan Moran, Maria Bamford, Eddie Izzard, Judy Tenuta, Greg Cochrane and George Carlin (of course). I've been told my own sense of humour is kind of... bizzare, just as a "warning". 8D
Some other interests are video games (FPS and RPG - love!), sleeping, anime/cartoons, drama, horror movies, "nature walks", doodling on paper and... tea. I'm a big fan of the tea.

As for what I'm interested in reading, I'm pretty open and not terribly picky so if we get along, you can spell properly in English for the most part and/or we've got shared interests, everything ought to be fine!
I'm keeping this journal locked since I love my privacy, but if for whatever reason I sound interesting enough let me know and access is yours! I'm pretty so-so at introductions too so if I'm missing something don't hesitate to ask.

Hi Everyone...

Yet another person fleeing the great ship LJ that is rapidly sinking in a sea of nastiness...

So, I'm looking for new friends to fill up my flist.  Most of my back dated stuff is locked down, and will stay that way, however if you think we'll get on there will be a "stickied" All About Me post, which I'll do soon. Honest.

I'm a single mum, in my final year of my midwifery degree, I ride motorbikes.
I write about my life - or lack there of, my daughter (always referred to as small person), my course and placements, and anything else that takes my fancy.  I do use filters, so if you wish to opt out of midwifery squick then let me know.

I'm a bit random.  I run a f-locked blog/journal simply because I like my privacy. I will also respect yours.

Looking for people who will intereact, comment, post regularly and be genuine.
