Hi, everyone. I'm new to Dreamwidth.  I'm here mostly because I needed a place to express myself that wasn't Tumblr or LJ.

What shall I say? I'm not quite sure what to think about Dreamwidth or how exactly to get started. I'm not in fandoms, but I certainly have my interests. I'm interested in Arab culture, Lebanon, Palestine, culture in general, traveling, literature, thinking, living abroad (I'm an aspiring ESL teacher), writing, philosophy, anything beautiful, and I have a blossoming interest in Buddhism.

In my journal, I'll probably just write. It's as simple as that.

As for more things about me, I'm a college sophomore with a French/Education double major. I'm going on to get my Master's in TESL/TEFL. I'm heading to Chile in the winter, possibly again in the summer, and then I'll be in Lyon (France) for the following school year. My life should be somewhat exciting for awhile.

I read all the time. Add me if you love books.
