My stock intro. :) New friends always welcome.
/me waves hi. Me: Female, physically age 48, mentally somewhere around 21. Computer geek, bellydancer wanna be, costumer, quilter, seamstress, wild woman. Warped sense of humor. Very fond of Second Life. Pagan w/ very Druid leanings. Crazy cat lady IRL - 4 rescue kitties live with me. Am teaching myself how to loom knit, relearning to crochet and I have been feeling the urge to maybe learn to draw. I used to sorta be able to. And yes, I type like I talk. Which is a lot. :) I speak English, Geek, and Southern USA Drawl.
Everything is posted friends locked. I do read every word my friends write and I genuinely care about you all, though I am horrible about commenting. :( Trying to work on that. I only post links if they are really good ones, whenever I do post. Don't usually post memes. I damn sure don't do slash or fan fic.
I like science fiction, both written and video forms.. some of my faves include Babylon 5, Serenity/Firefly, Trek, Star Wars, BSG, Dr Who, Torchwood, Darkover, Red Dwarf, and anything Asimov or Heinlein ever wrote, among many other likes. I do play WoW occasionally, but I don't write about it. My hubby does, frequently, & I can link you to his blog if you'd like. He's pretty funny, for a guy who plays Alliance-side only. :D
I used to be very active in the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) but haven't been doing much these last couple of years; I have been attending more local Pagan festivals, when I can. Thinking about getting back into the SCA stuff though. There's times I miss it.
Oh, and I live in Florida, USA, just north of St Pete and west of Tampa. Yes, 5 miles from the beach in several directions. Don't hate me. :)
