Hi.
Most people just call me Ardi. I just turned 20 in January, but I don't feel like I could possibly be that old. Right now I'm a Sophomore in collage and a Criminal Justice major (minor in Chemistry, of all things--- because I'm dorky and I LIKE Chemistry).
I'm a goofy, dorky, and childlike person, on one side and a sarcastic, cynical, logical person on the other. I like to discuss, but I don't like to argue. I'm inquisitive and hardworking as well as overly emotional and easily distracted. I don't really know who I am, yet, but I'm having a fun creating the person I want to be.
I'm not exceptionally kind, but I am exceptionally caring. I'm a good listener, but I don't always know when to shut up.
As for what I _do_, I mostly go to school. I love learning and if I could be a full time student as a "profession" I would do it. Outside of that I work as a receptionist at a Chiropractic office <3. For fun I do Hapkido (which is a martial art and just as much a part of my education as college) and compete in various shooting competitions. I'm not a gun slingin' redneck. Well. Not a redneck. I do indeed sling guns. I promise, the "culture" out on the range is not at all like the stereotype would suggest.
Mostly, my journal is about my schooling, my competitions, my friends. I get philosophical sometimes. I like to talk about love and relationships and what they do and don't mean to me. I like to talk about figuring out who I am and why I do the things I do. I wrestle with my self-worth and try to see the good things in my life.
I set goals for myself. I succeed and I fail. I'm cheerful and resilient and I get sad and I worry. My life is pretty low drama, but I have family problems sometimes and disagreements with my friends. I watch movies and read books and listen to music-- just like I'm sure you do. We're not all that different, in the end.
Friends? Please comment here to be added. :)
