Geeky girl looking for friends!

Hey, I'm a 21 year old girl from Ireland and I'm looking to meet new people on DW, since I'm keen on making the move over here from LJ eventually, and knowing more people on the site might help with that. :)

I'm really geeky; I love computer games, sci-fi and fantasy books, TV shows and movies, and I have a habit of fangirling over things I enjoy. I work in the games industry in community management and customer support for free2play MMORPGs. I love my job, even if it is stressful, because it's all about games!

I'm mostly looking for other geeks to get to know better. I'd prefer it if you were open-minded as well.

I'm mostly hoping that people will introduce themselves before we add each other, that's all. :) I've had people add me without saying anything on LJ and it makes me feel a little funny.

Gotcha. ;) People are pretty good about that here, especially in response to an addme post. If they don't reply directly to a post, they'll post to a "comment to be added" entry or else message you--so much nicer than random adds. =)
