Hello, I'm M.  I just started this account for the purpose of blogging about my life anonymously.  However I would love to have some friends as well.  Friends that, to be honest, really don't extend away from DreamWidth.  Does that make sense?  I am trying to make an isolated little place here, a safe haven, unattached to my other haunts on the internet.

I'll be writing about my life.  Probably also thoughts and opinions.  That's about it.  I make no guarantees to be interesting and if you want to follow and unfollow me, I will take no offense.

I think that's the kind of attitude I've been trying to take with my own journal, it's pretty much just me talking to myself and I don't think I really mind that at all. It's nice to have somewhere where outside drama is never going to intrude.

Having migrated here recently for many of the same reasons, it makes perfect sense to me. DW seems to be a great place to be open but detached from other places.
