Greetings, ladies and gentlemen of Dreamwidth. I am another LJ refugee.

I'm 21 in a few weeks, and I've just entered my last year of university. I'm studying English Literature. I live in the UK, in a flat full of houseplants. My flatmate and I are like an old married couple. She'll probably feature regularly in my journal, as we are actually in danger of becoming the same person.

My journal is pretty empty right now, but soon it shall be full of day-to-day minutiae, half-arsed attempts at filling out memes, and semi-coherent, semi-political rants. Maybe also some pictures of dogs in hats. And once November arrives, delirious ranting about NaNoWriMo.

As far as labels go, I'm a female, cisgender, hetero, vegetarian, liberal Quaker. I'm also grappling with an anxiety disorder of sorts which requires lots of trips to the GP and Student Support. It's a bundle o'laughs, and will be written about in my journal. So there's a warning.

I like tea, Kopparberg, the homeware section of John Lewis and David Mitchell.

And I'm going to start taking lindy hop classes next week.

If that doesn't entice you in to adding me, I don't know what will.

I was also an English major (back in the 80s), and when I took the Belief-O-Matic religious quiz one of my top 3 results was "liberal Quaker". Oh, and I do NaNo as well.

I drink way too much tea, so that seems like a good start... I'm all for the mutual adding thing, but I'm not everyones cup of tea (keeping the theme going...), so I usually suggest people check me out first.

Like you I've come over from lj, and there's a link to that journal on my profile. If you're up for the mutual adding subscribing (I'm still getting used to that), then we'll do it and see how we go :o)
