Hello! I'm Diana. :)
Name: Diana
Age: 40
I mostly post about: trying to build a gentler life, small daily victories and struggles, mental health, and job-hunting reflections
My hobbies are: walking in quiet neighborhoods, beginner yoga, journaling, solo dining adventures, reading nonfiction, and classical guitar.
I'm looking to meet people who: are kind, nonjudgmental, gentle, and thoughtful. People who understand being in transition and trying to build a life that feels more like their own.
My posting schedule tends to be: more or less daily.
When I add people, my dealbreakers are: cruelty, judgment, political hostility, and unsolicited advice.
Before adding me, you should know: I live with bipolar disorder and write openly about managing it while working full-time. I would love to meet other neurodivergent folks.

I'm also 40, building a practice of self compassion and just getting through life one day at a time. My partner also lives with bipolar.
Friends?
Hey Diana~!! :)
you sound really, really nice and kind, and I would like to give friending you a try, if you are okay with this? I won't be angry if you don't want to, though ^^.
My name is Rina, I am 41 years old, and living in Germany. In some way, we seem to be in the same boat. I am currently job-hunting, too, and even though I have two important job interviews this week, I am still kinda nervous and want to keep looking for specific jobs, too. I also want to be gentler (or at least more understanding) to myself, and I think this is a really good starting point for a happier life, because after all, working against myself all the time like I am my own worst enemy (It often felt like this, unfortunately..:) is the worst thing I could do for my mental health.
I struggle with my mental health, too. Mainly recurring severe depressive episodes, as well as C-PTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, and EDNOS for now. It has been a wild ride -___-, but I got so used to hating myself throughout my life, that I really felt like I needed a switch of perspective, even though I'd sometimes fall back into old thought patterns.
Moreover, I also enjoy playing the guitar :). Not classical guitar, tbh, rather the electric guitar and a lot of rock or random songs stuck in my mind, but I love anything to do with (making) music. I usually gravitate towards non-fiction when reading, and I'd like to start journaling (on paper) again, too.
Either way - I would love to support you through the transition to a gentler life, and to be your friend :).

Re: Hey Diana~!! :)
Good luck on your upcoming interviews!
It’s a real comfort to meet someone who’s also navigating mental health challenges. I learn so much from hearing how other people live, cope, and move forward.
I love that we both play guitar!

I appreciate you sharing that your partner has bipolar. I’ve always been curious about what that experience is like, both for the person living with it and for the person who loves them. It’s meaningful to hear different versions of how people navigate this.
I’d love to be friends. :)
