I mostly post about: cartoons and video games that absolutely didn't have me as the target audience (like, stuff for girls, but i'm not a girl lol), my beautiful life, whatever i'm currently enjoying, art because i draw, photography because i take photos, translation because i translate, and i like to share links (which are mostly about leftism, history, language, cultures, ~otaku~ stuff, race, webcomics, etc.)

My hobbies are: besides the ones previously stated and the ones implied (such as playing video games), i also like to listen to music

My fandoms are: honestly, i don't think i'm "a part" of any fandom. i do my own thing. but i do like angelique, fire emblem (4 and 16 the best), and guilty gear. in general, i like shoujo animanga and otome games a lot. visual kei too. for all things i like, i lean towards things from around my year of birth and earlier.

I'm looking to meet people who: won't mind my nonsense on their reading pages, since finding people with the exact same interests is impossible. people with adjacent interests would be nice. so would people who translate, speak japanese or spanish, are transgender, or are black. being nonjudgmental and accepting of weirdos is a requirement.

My posting schedule tends to be: near daily if you're on my access list, but if not then... definitely frequent, but could vary from daily to monthly.

When I add people, my dealbreakers are: bigots with a special emphasis on transphobia and racism, posting mainly about live-action shows unless the cast is all or mostly POC, anti-socialists, netflixvania fans, being rude and mean for no apparent reason

i will be entirely honest and straightforward (see, i took so long responding because i was debating if i should say this): i dont say it all the time, but i do generally dislike parents. but not really. what i actually dislike is how they abuse the power they wield over their kids. so, if you know you're a parent that respects your child's personhood and you won't take any possible posts that mention how i hate parents(/adults, used interchangeably sometimes; i'm an adult so you should know i don't mean EVERY adult lol), feel free to sub! i'm like 50% a fandom blogger, but i'd like to get to know you too ^_^

adultism is one of the power dynamics i actively seek to dismantle as part of my anarchism. i taught preschool for many years & was lucky enough to be at a school for a long time that saw kids as autonomous capable PEOPLE & not just something to exert power over, so that definitely informs my parenting. in fact after working at so many shitty schools with "teachers" that seem to hate children i am planning on unschooling my child when the time comes because i believe school is just another punitive capitalist institution that i have no interest in legitimizing (i'm working really hard to get out of teaching as a job but it's hard being homeless with my kid so i am stuck here for now) as children are the most marginalized group on earth because they exist & are dehumanized in every population. but i feel u & definitely appreciate u say all that because it really is heart wrenching how many people, especially parents & teachers, don't even seem to like the children they decided to make themselves in charge of taking care of! okay off my soap box sociology ted talk i am just also really passionate about this topic because it is very important to me, my politics, my ethics, & just my life in general. i do obv talk about my kid a lot but none of it is disparaging. i love my baby & i actually act like it. i will sub u tho, feel free to sub back : )
