Country: Belgium
Age: 39
I mostly post about: reading, fandom, art
My hobbies are: drawing, painting, reading, fandom, writing, occasionally playing video games and (solo) board games, sapphic ships and sapphic romance.
My fandoms are: Xena: Warrior Princess, Star Trek (Mainly Voyager and Picard), Legends of Tomorrow, Arrow, Sueños de Libertad, The Elder Scrolls, Dragon Age, The Lord of the Rings, Fallout (video game series and TV show)
I'm looking to meet people who: are kind and friendly, who like to connect, share insights and interests.
My posting schedule tends to be: At the moment I just came back from an absence, I'm doing Three Weeks for Dreamwidth, so in that time I will be posting once a day. After that, I plan to have at least one post a week.
Before adding me, you should know: I'm a nostalgic dreamer, and love like to escape in different times, while listening to older music or just some obscure instrumental stuff.

I would love to get to know you - I am a huge reader and love board games (though I hardly ever get to play them :() and anything sapphic sounds great to me.

Well, I love most genres of books, but I tend to gravitate towards thrillers or non-fiction (biographies, political/social issues etc.).

I mostly read fiction. I’ve had a time in my life when I mainly read classics, I also had a time where it was mainly fantasy books. But now I mostly read lighter things, such as romance and adventure. I also have a few art-related non-fiction books on my reading list.

In art, I’m drawn to different things. In the sense of classic art, some artists I like are Breughel, Egon Schiele, Edward Hopper, Mucha, Hockney, and Morandi. It can happen that I go to an exhibition of an artist and only then feel a connection with their work. That happened with Belgian artists Permeke and Berlinda de Bruyckere (a sculptor). I also like artists who aren’t regarded as being part of the classic art scene, like fantasy painters Larry Elmore and the brothers Hildebrandt. I also like contemporary artists/illustrators who make pen drawings, for instance, like Tyrone Le Roux (@ just_that_guy_who_draws on Instagram)
So cool that you have an online comic! What is it about?

Thank you for explaining! I do like finding and learning about all sorts of artists. More independent artists are always interesting, too.
It's called Promised Memories. It starts off about a young princess named Fay who is upset with the idea of her fate to become a queen someday and isn't ready to grow up. Her two best friends come from rather difficult backgrounds and they are put in a rather dangerous situation of their own which overlaps into Fay's world. I can't go into much more details because I may give our some spoilers. But if you are curious to read it sometime I can give you the link. :)

Cool, which style are they? (Post-)Impressionists?
Your online comic sounds cool. I’m interested in learning more. If you feel comfortable with it, you may give me the link :) I’m looking forward to reading it ^

Thank you for sharing your comic. I haven’t read it yet. I just had a look at a few of the first pages, and I love how it looks! Your colored pencil drawings have a lot of charm and joy!
Looking forward to reading it! <3

I’m happy you liked my posts. I returned to Dreamwith more or less in time for the Three Weeks (one day late), I thought it’d be fun to do it with these kind of questions :)
