New user here :)
I'm Valentine (Val for short), disabled lesbian surviving adulthood well enough

So far, posts are likely to be like usual journal entries- life stuff, venting, autistic infodumps, etc.

Hobbies: art, music, reading, singing (though not often in front of others, thanks anxiety), D&D

Current Fandoms: the band Ghost, the Locked Tomb series by Tamsin Muir, Dungeon Meshi, gothic horror

Posing may be sporadic, similarly with replies. OK with chatting if we have similar interests or if you have recommendations. Always looking for new music and books in particular

Deal-breakers are the usual- bigots, -phobes and -ists. Not currently NSFW but still not for minors. Before adding me, you should know I'm disabled and struggle a lot with mental illness. Will be posting often about these topics and the lovely treatment I get from doctors. Not a deal-breaker necessarily, but as a trans person I don't like interacting with Harry Potter stuff- obviously you do you, no judgement so long as you're not financially supporting She Who Must Not Be Named as that does heavily impact me and my community. Also when I'm talking lesbians I'd prefer if cis men take a backseat, it isn't for you obviously.

I also have a disability -I have minor hearing loss in my right ear and use a hearing aide.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of HP stuff either because of the obvious.

I'm mostly sketching these days cause of time, but I have watercolours and acrylics when I have time to paint. Music can be a bit eclectic- mix of goth, metal, pop, jazz...my autism means I just really like fun sounds lol.
At any given moment, it's likely I'm rereading one of the Locked Tomb books- yes it's an obsession- but I also quite enjoy Andrew Joseph White's books, Dracula, Dungeon Meshi and the Witcher series (never played the games though). Tastes lean towards fantasy, mystery and horror but I do try other genres. E.g. I have a small collection of fluffy gl manga.

Not a manga, book series. Is lesbian tho- basically all main characters are queer women lol. It's science-fantasy about space necromancers that has really cool world building and way more references than I initially thought it would...also butch women with swords
