Name:
Age: 40s - old enough I have to do arithmetic to remember the exact age!
I mostly post about: A lot of link lists with some personal stuff, the occasional poem or video
My hobbies are: reading and, recently, birdfeeding. Also, snuggling my adorable pets
My fandoms are: I'm a bit voracious when it comes to reading material, but I trend towards sf/f. Recently I've re-read the Imperial Radch trilogy and the entire Shoes corpus by Streatfeild and am trying to finish that last season of Jane the Virgin before it goes off Netflix, I've also be watching ST: Voyager with my niece.
I'm looking to meet people who: are interesting to read! But I don't care if that's mostly fannish or mostly not, mostly personal or mostly not, mostly news or mostly not.
My posting schedule tends to be: I like to fill up my calendar, but I don't really post every day. Instead, I forward-date entries so that if I skip a day, no big. This turns out to be easier to manage than backdating entries after the fact.
When I add people, my dealbreakers are: Listen, I'd like to say that politics doesn't matter... but it does. If you're in favor of Donald Trump then you will not like me, nor vice versa. Just figure on the opposite of GOP talking points and, well, that's where my bleeding-heart goes.
With that said, although I'll post articles on the situation in the mideast, I do not discuss Israel/Palestine with people whose names I know, only with totally random strangers. Comments about the topic in my journal will get frozen, and screened if they say anything less anodyne than "Gosh, it's terrible what's happening to everybody".
Before adding me, you should know: I complain about my period every single month, and will continue to do so until conditions improve. Also, if you leave a comment here saying something like "Do you want me to add you?" or "Can I add you?" that'll trigger some annoying and weird social anxiety, so it's best to just add me if you want to and don't if you don't, and I'll do the same on my end.

I only sometimes have to do the maths but the people I've met in that department are all entertainers in their own little way.
In the way that says...
It's better to use the credits in the subject that you actually want to specialise in ... :]
Let me see if I have complained about my period as well... I commented about diarrhoea 22 days ago if that counts.
n.b. I have not added you yet and much of my DW I keep private but I wanted to know if you were curious.
I am, though: what sort of pets do you have? (I currently have two cats and also feed the birds outside. The Cambridge people have advised me about herpetology which is about lots of other interesting creatures too. ^_^ I haven't made the trip across the ocean yet to get there since each attempt has ended in injury or worse but next time will succeed, I swear!!)

One recently deceased rescue dog, a toy poodle. We miss him.
One chihuahua. Very large for a chihuahua, actually, about eight pounds.
A passel of randombred cats -
my own precious Callie, who likes me and is shy around most humans
her mother
my niece's cat, whom I think was just dumped on our porch, though I can't prove it
my other nibling's friend's cat
one random semi-feral cat who likes to come in our house and eat our cat food. All of the other cats like him, I guess...? If you know anybody in the NYC area who'd like a large, semi-feral cat who smells bad and isn't very friendly, let me know.
