I mostly post about: The meaning of life, my cats, random thoughts, my photography & dreams of traveling.

My hobbies are: Photography, hiking, animals, travel, web design plus more.

My fandoms are: N/A

I'm looking to meet people who: Can relate to my posts & have some similar interests & are at least 21+.

My posting schedule tends to be: I'm going to try to make a post once a week as I'm returning to blogging.

When I add people, my dealbreakers are: Constant journal name changers, Pro 45 supporters (I'm Anti 45), too much vulgar language & attention seeking behavior.

Before adding me, you should know: I'm a changed person; I'm no more a doormat. I'm still a quiet lady but will stand up to situations when necessary. I'm also quite quick witted & been told I should've been a comedienne...I live to smile & laugh!

I'm older (maybe too old for you?) -- age 74, and have been blogging on LJ (and more recently DW, a mirror journal) since 2001. I post, on average, a few times a week.

We share some interests, cats, and photography in particular. I don't hike quite as much now (Sciatica occasionally rears its ugly head - right now, it's mercifully asymptomatic), but I'm grateful to be able to go on photography shoots. I love nature and taking pictures of wildlife - mostly birds (and my cat, of course!) Depending on the subject matter, I use my DSLR camera or cell phone camera. I have a Flickr photo site under the name "sweetmeow," too. I also love music, sing in the church choir, and am a flutist.

My husband and I are snowbirds, living on Long Island in summer and Hilton Head in winter. But right now, we are considering retirement communities, so change is in the air.

I also attend church, but I rarely post about religion -- just the nuts and bolts of the choir, church friends, and "church life."

And don't worry. #45 IS NOT AN OPTION!

I think I'll enjoy your journal with photography & cats. Age is not a problem. I also like your username in reference to cats. Snowbird living sounds like such a nice retreat. That's something I'm in the process of; planning a cross country trip. And, I agree on your reply on 45!!!

We've been living "snowbird style" since 2001. It's been fun; we've created a life in both areas. But it's starting to get old. Going back and forth is an arduous process!
