(no subject)

My friends list has become a little quiet lately, so I thought I'd see if I could find some new lovely peeps to add ;)

Name: Tina

Age: 36 years old young

I mostly post about: my daily life! Thoughts, musings, anything that goes through my mind basically. Lots of pictures of things I encounter and find worthy of capturing, my cat Lucy among them, travelling that I do...a whole smorgasbord of stuff. The only things I do not post about is fandom (because I'm not into that) and politics/news (because this is my safe space and I need to take care of my mental health). I did post a bit about the recent European election results a couple weeks ago just because they were so horrible that I needed to get out my thoughts, but that's about all of the political content I write about.

My hobbies are: Reading, hanging out with friends, taking walks, travelling, taking pictures, cuddling with my cat, listening to music, going to the occasional concert (when I can afford it), and I am making an effort to go swimming regularly again. (Though I did just get a new tattoo so that's off limits for a while now.)

My fandoms are: I am not into fandom. Of course I have books/movies/TV shows etc. that I like but I do not participate in anything like fanfiction etc.

I'm looking to meet people who: are funny, kind, empathetic and open-minded. Common interests are nice, but not an absolute must-have. Some of my best friends I've met online share hardly anything in common with me - and after all, one can always give the other person's interests a try and might like them ;)

My posting schedule tends to be: I try to post at least once a week, same with commenting and replying to comments.

When I add people, my dealbreakers are: The usual bigotry, right-wing political views; if you think that mental illness is not real and people just need to "get a grip" and "pull themselves together". Also, and I know that's gonna sound a bit rude, if you are somebody who doesn't want "too much negativity", you might give me a pass. While I do try to be as positive as I can, and have gotten a lot better mentally over the past few years, I also want to feel free to get out any thoughts, bad or good, on here, and not get anxious about crossing the line into "too much" territory. Also, I have been dealing with disordered eating and body image issues all my life, so while it's not a dealbreaker as such, I will skip that kind of content if it is something you write about.

Before adding me, you should know: I am very possibly (though undiagnosed because the whole process is very difficult over here) somewhere on the autism spectrum, so I sometimes put my foot in my mouth without realizing it. If I do say something that offends you, please try to give me the benefit of the doubt that I didn't do it on purpose, and talk to me about it. I will do my best to apologize and learn from it - I just can't deal with being ghosted without knowing if I did something wrong/what it was that I did.
I hope I don't sound too complicated or weird - I am really quite nice and I am looking forward to meeting people from all walks of life.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask ♥

That's wonderful! Recently I have gotten into True Crime and it truly is interesting. I read pretty much anything except for some cheesy romance novels and overly religious books.

Yes, I'm agnostic too.
And I agree, I don't like authors like that either.
