I mostly post about: my day-to-day life, primarily consisting of my hobbies below. Although, there is the occasional family drama (living in a multi-generational homestead will do that) and work struggles (gotta have a traditional job to support the hobby farm in today's economy). I intend on focusing on entries regarding improvements on/to the homestead and working with my dog(s). [My partner came with a husky, whom I love, but would rather spend his days napping on the couch than on adventuring with me.]

My posting schedule tends to be: mostly daily, to keep in the habit of writing. I found previously if I skip one day, it turns into two, then seven and an entire month has passed.

When I add people, my dealbreakers are: bullies and bigots, and the adjacent.

Before adding me, you should know: I live on a multi-generational hobby farm where we do consume the meat from the livestock we raise. I don't post anything graphic, visual or verbal.

I didn't know you at LJ, but just looking over this post it sounds like we share some interests. My husband and I are looking at converting our rural Florida property into a hobby farm but it's slow going. There's a reason this area is nicknamed Starvation Ridge. It sounds like you have a really interesting life! I am a city person myself, but I'd love to learn more about farming and homesteading as I have recently gotten a plot in a community garden. This is the first time I've had any outdoor space to grow stuff since I was 18ish.

Hey, I am looking to make some new friends with genuine connections. I am a LiveJournal transplant, with most of my friends list being long-time friends that I've formed great friendships with over the years. I'm posting mostly weekly, though it can fluctuate depending on what is going on with life.

Also into all sorts of animals, and currently have two cats and a horse I compete with in dressage. When I can, I am hiking or camping, and spend a lot of time reading and playing video games. My reading interests are fiction, with a lot of mystery/thriller, and I enjoy a wide variety of video games.
