Name:I mostly go by Nero in online spaces, but you may also call me Steve or Rafael.

Age: Nineteen, almost twenty.

I mostly post about: Mundante stuff about my personal life, my struggles with mental health, my hyperfixations and fandom interests.

My hobbies are: Toy collecting, currently trying to learn a third language and I also enjoy talking about media with people.

My fandoms are: I've been in online fandoms for a few years now, so there's a lot, but the ones I think are most relevant are MLP, TMNT, kpop, Kung Fu Panda, Ever After High and Monster High to a lesser extent. Lots of kids stuff.

I'm looking to meet people who: Mostly looking for people who post about their lives, since I love getting to know new people. Doesn't matter if we don't share any interests. So basically, just about anyone who doesn't exclusively post about fandom is welcome.

My posting schedule tends to be: It's pretty inconsistent. Sometimes I post multiple times a week and sometimes it takes me a bit to to post anything. It depends.

When I add people, my dealbreakers are:My general beliefs and politics are listed on my sticky. Those are very important to me, so please do read them before adding me. Aside from that, I would also rather not interact with people who are self proclaimed "anti shippers."

I do know of that community! haven't really had the chance to lurk much with my kpop hyperfixation being more on the background these days, but i appreciate it regardless.

Not sure we'd overlap very much -- and while I share the bulk of your views and positions, I couldn't promise to align 100% on all of them 100% of the time -- but I'm really popping by to say how nice it is to see someone around who's still into MLP. It's not often you see that on this community these days! :P

that's fine! and yeah, i've noticed that, haven't seen many pony fans on this site as much as you see in others.

Yeah, it's strange really. I've been in the fandom since spring 2012, and it's definitely quieter than it was then, but as you say in many places it's still visible more than it is on DW.

Maybe I'm a bit out of the fandom mainstream (I'm in the UK, plus my main interest is fanfic so I spend a lot of time on Fimfiction) but it feels like the people who are still active are more comfortable in their own spaces now, which is fine. We still get a thousand attendees each year at UK PonyCon, and they have to come from somewhere!

I actually think there's been a bit of a renaissance. I got back into the show just when youtubers like Shunks and artists like Punkitt were getting started and it's been really nice to see so much pony content coming from different people. Especially on sites like tumblr, I've definitely noticed a lot of new content. That being said, it's never going to be like the old days.
