Old. *coughs* (early 50’s) I actually do not feel old but when I see that number it does always tend to throw me - how did that happen? Lolol

I mostly post about:

I’m just getting back in DW after about five years of not posting much at all. I am hoping to return to my old habits of posting a little bit of everything: fandom musings, books that I’m reading, tv that I’m watching, music I’m listening to mixed in with various day to day life ruminations.

My hobbies are:

photography though I’ve not been engaging in it much lately. I also like to write, read, and am trying my hand at learning new graphic art programs. Some day I’d like to learn to crochet too.

My fandoms are:

Mostly Star Wars these days. I’m an old school fan of the originals from seeing them as a kid. I also really like the Mandalorian. :D Other fandoms I flirt with include the original Superman films, Smallville (or as I like to call it Crackville), other DCU things (though I wasn’t much of a fan of the films to be honest), old school tv shows like MASH and Northern Exposure, Buffy, and I should mention my online fandom life started with Harry Potter and I was very active in that fandom for years but have since lost enthusiasm thanks to JKR’s bigotry though I do still occasionally skim new fanfic once in a while. I no longer contribute to any of the franchise financially.

I'm looking to meet people who:

Share various interests, are fun, like minded, caring, and have a sense of humor.

My posting schedule tends to be: daily/weekly/monthly/sporadic/etc

I’m going to try to post a few times a week. Will see how that goes.

When I add people, my dealbreakers are:

If you’re a MAGA please don’t bother. I don’t really want to post about political matters but that is a huge deal breaker for me. Also, if you’re racist, sexist, homophobic or anti-science we probably won’t get along well.

Before adding me, you should know: Even though I said I don’t really want to post about political matters I should state upfront that I’m fairly liberal and that will probably come out from time to time in things that I say and talk about. I engage in fandom spaces / LJ-DW blogging to escape so I don’t think I will post about things such as that often but it may come up at times. (Though I hope to use this space as a refuge!) Let’s see what else - I have ADHD and at times can be very forgetful though I’m working really hard to curb that! Anything else and you’ll probably find out on my journal. :)
