Let's give it a try ;)
Here goes...I'm bad at selling myself, but alas.
Name: Tina
Age:Old 35
I mostly post about: Daily life (often accompanied by pictures), thoughts that run through my mind, the occasional rant, and anything I can think of that I want to remember and/or share. Lately it has been quite a bit of ranting/whining about my health, which has been complicated for the best part of this year. My journal really isn't always like that though!
My hobbies are: Reading, listening to music (everything from pop to metalcore to rap - the only genre I don't like at all is jazz), taking walks, going to concerts, travelling (when money and time permits), hanging out with friends, cooking, taking pictures, adult colouring books, jigsaw puzzles, cuddling my kitty ;)
I would like to go swimming regularly again in 2024, which has been neglected ever since the pandemic began.
My fandoms are: I don't participate in fandom. I do have favourite shows/movies etc. of course, but I don't write or read fiction about them or the like.
I'm looking to meet people who: are kind, understanding, open-minded and have a sense of humour. You should also be accepting of the fact that I am mentally ill and even though I do try to be positive, my journal will not always just be sunshine and roses. Shared interests are nice, but not a must-have - in fact, I have met some of my best friends on here while not having anything in common. I really love getting a glimpse into people's lives, it expands my horizons, gets me to see what life is like in all kinds of places and has opened my mind a lot throughout the years.
My posting schedule tends to be: It really depends on the time/spoons I have. When I work, I will often be too tired to write in the evenings and will do so on the weekends. I also may not always comment but I do my best to be caught up. I'm aiming to be active at least once a week. Lately it has been more than that since I've been laid up with Covid for the past week Dx
When I add people, my dealbreakers are: The usual bigotry (though who really thinks of themselves as a bigot?), anti-vaxxers, those who think mental illness isn't real/people should just "pull themselves together". On that note, I'd prefer of you not to add me if you don't want "too much negativity". The reason for that is really just with me - as I said above, I try to be positive but I also want to feel free to show my feelings on here, and when there's a "condition" such as the above is given, I will always be anxious about how much is "too much". I hope that makes sense?
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask - oh and please do comment on here or my Friends Only post before adding me. Thank you very much :)

Before adding me, you should know: I am neurodivergent and even though I try my best to be considerate to others, it can happen that I put my foot in my mouth and say something offensive without noticing. Please do give me the benefit of the doubt and don't assume I mean offense, but rather tell me if I did so and I will do my best to apologize, learn and not repeat the mistake.
I'm also a left-wing snowflake xD so if you're very conservative, my journal might not be for you even though I hardly write about anything political. I do not want an echo chamber, but I do prefer a place away from heated discussions. You can have plenty of those on other online spaces.
