I mostly post about: everyday life, with bits of whatever I’m working on thrown in. That tends to mean art festivals I’ve visited, organizing attempts, craft projects, languages I’m learning, and updates on what I’m reading/watching. I’m nurturing interests in reproductive health and project management so they may end up in the mix as well.

My hobbies are: reading (I’m a genre fiction kind of girl, but lately I’ve been tossing more non-fiction into the ring), watching tv/movies, crafting in various iterations (lately my interests are skewing towards sewing and bookbinding, but I’m having carpal tunnel issues and haven’t figured out if there’s a good way to accommodate them yet).

My fandoms are: . I read a lot of fic, in various fandoms, but don’t typically post about it. Recent good reads have been in MCU (Spiderman specifically), BNHA, Bridgerton, Naruto, Sunshine (Robin McKinley), A:TLA… If you have or want recs, hit me up!

I'm looking to meet people who: are friendly, posting about what interests them. I don’t mind if we don’t have a ton in common. Just know that if you’re posting about, say, video games, I’m nodding supportively even if I have no idea what you’re talking about.

My posting schedule tends to be: sporadic but I am attempting to change that. Current goal is to post at least weekly, and to read daily, but we’ll see what the adhd has to say about that 😂

When I add people, my dealbreakers are: the typical stuff. I’m a black woman with various intersecting identities, so I don’t appreciate prejudice or bad faith arguments, but am always happy to learn from folks with different perspectives.

Before adding me, you should know: I tend to post when I’m feeling up beat, or contemplative, or both. I can be pretty silly, so I do a lot of laughing at myself on this blog. Serious stuff goes under the cut, so it’s up to you whether to read. Still getting used to DW, so please forgive any lapses in etiquette. It’s easier said than done, but I generally find that being straightforward is the best way to go about things; if you aren’t sure about something, please feel free to ask :) Comma splices abound, so enter at your own risk ⚠️

I don't know if we have much in common, posting-wise but I would love to read about your interests! I like Naruto, Spiderman, and ATLA as well, but I mostly post about Star Trek (I love doing old zine reviews from the 90s), book reviews, daily life stuff, and writing updates. I'm queer, somewhere along the trans man/butch lesbian spectrum, and I love digging into crunchy older texts and poring through the community's unfiltered history, so occasionally I'll post quotes or discussion posts about the stuff I find.

ooh, which deck did you get? i used to collect decks because they're so irresistible. i really enjoyed learning tarot and i'm planning to teach it at my local workshop centre. i might teach it online too.

Hi!! So happy to see BNHA in an addme entry :D I mod the bnha_fans comm on Dreamwidth, if that sounds interesting! New people are always welcome :) The anime_manga is pretty cool and active as well, we have regular chats about new anime coming out each season, sometimes reaction posts as well if a few people are watching the same things.
