I mostly post about: daily suburban life as a person with autism, two autistic adult kids, and a neurotypical wife with chronic migraine. Also a dog, three cats, and six chickens. I drink above average coffee, roast my own beans, and I'm typically dangerously caffeinated by 10:00 most mornings.

 

My hobbies are: Seems like every hobby I have turns into a job eventually since I'm always on the lookout for ways monetize the stuff I'm doing. I read, I play guitar and bouzouki with an Irish band called Jump-2-3. 

 

My fandoms are: I don't actively engage in any fandoms, per se. I like Star Wars (prequels? What prequels?), some Star Trek (I like TNG, but hate the 90's aesthetic). Big fan of Stephen King. My librarian is an orangutan. 

 

I'm looking to meet people who: are open minded, empathetic, genuine, and curious. 

 

When I add people, my dealbreakers are: No minors, bigots, racists, homophobes, transfobes, xenophobes, misogynists, sexists, science deniers, anti-vaxxers. Believe what you want, but if you're beliefs excludes any group of people because of how they were born, I won't waste my time on you. Qanon, Maga? Fuck off.

 

Before adding me, you should know: I write with readers in mind, so I tend toward a crafted narrative rather than stream of consciousness blathering. I say "fuck" from time to time. I'm: autistic; ADHD; an agnostic atheist who loves to debate; a software engineer; former theatre major; aspiring novelist; tinkerer along the lines of Caracticus Potts if Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was a 3d printer. At my age and daily pain level, I don't suffer fools. Get off my lawn.

 

My posting schedule tends to be: Every two or three days, usually. It's how I keep track of what's going on in my head.

The "so far" made me chuckle. Tinkering, agnostic atheist, ADHD, Irish music, Star Trek and Star Wars are all overlapping interests. I went ahead and added you, feel free to look around my journal! I mostly talk about gardening and books lately.

Aside from that, yes please, King and Star Trek = good taste! Autism with an adult ADHD kid here, no animals, but a jungle in an 48qm flat ;)
