I mostly post about: nothing in particular. idk. video games? life? sort of? I don't know what I'm doing here, it's hard. I don't manage to stay interested or engaged because this site feels like it's way more for a fandom crowd. I'm an in-betweener. I like things that are fandom-y, but I mostly keep to myself because others irritate and annoy me. I am also very possessive regarding the characters I get most attached to and am not keen on sharing that with others. like, we'll share 'em, but I do not want to interact based on that.

My hobbies are: gaming, toy collecting, shitposting, sleeping, talkin to my friends on the internet, drawing, fashion, cute/weird Japanese stuff

My fandoms are: I don't do fandom. don't have the interest or energy. stuff I'm really into right now... like, right now, is Splatoon, Bionicle, and itemLabel(https://itemlabel.com/ https://www.youtube.com/@itemLabel).

I'm looking to meet people who: feel a connection to me. sharing interests is good, and gives my autistic self something to work with... as long as said interests are part of your journal.

My posting schedule tends to be: been silent for a while, but wanting to come back. I try to post at least once a week.

When I add people, my dealbreakers are: I'm here for fun, so if your journal is about politics, current events, and/or discourse of any sort at all, I'm uninterested. other than that, if you can't accept me as... me, well. not gonna work out.

Before adding me, you should know: if you're not into either of my 2 favorite things(video games and toys) we'll very not likely vibe. I'm a lonely disabled person. my life is not all too interesting. check my profile and pinned journal entry before adding me, please.

While DW has a lot of fannish activity, it also has tons of stuff that have nothing to do with fandom. Use the Interests page to search for topics you like and find blogs or communities. It also has a link for the Popular Interests display.

followfriday has recommendations of blogs and communities to follow on diverse topics. Each week there's a featured topic with lists of its communities. From your interests:

apologies, I wasn't trying to make it sound like it's all fannish. I know it's not. it just feels... majority. and that just frustrates me a little. perhaps more than a little. but hey, thanks for the links.

It's a very common impression, probably because the fans try so hard to promote their activity. Not all the other stuff is that noisy. Honestly, I didn't realize how much else was out there until I started researching communities. DW search functions aren't the best, which can make it hard to see what's available.

Hi! I checked your profile and we have about 43853 mutual friends (I may have exaggerated). I also saw you have a Tommy february6 icon and I ADORE her. I don't collect toys myself but I loooove old toys and would be really interested in that if you ever post about it.

I'm very casually into fandom nowadays, as you described yourself, and don't really ever post about it in a "fandom" way if that makes any sense... I feel like we could get along! Mutuals?
