Age: Let's just say I started my Livejournal nearly 20 years ago...
I mostly post about: Many of my entries consist of my imported Livejournal, which contained a lot of early adult depression, anxiety, and family issues. I'm an INFP and this was my safe space to say whatever I wanted to for a number of years, so there were a lot of dreams and tragedies, lol. My current entries are mostly about my life and whatever comes to mind, fairly standard daily things. I'm currently pursuing a Masters in Library Science and work a full time job at a soul-less healthcare corporation, I have alot of animals and I do often post about them. Most of my entries are access-locked, as I'm a pretty private and shy person.
My hobbies are: Reptile-keeping, listening to music, reading, writing, studying history and languages, watching YouTube, lol.
My fandoms are: I don't think I belong to any fandoms anymore, really. Although I am a fan of classic movies and music, 90's alternative music and metal, Russian hip-hop, and documentaries about history, aliens, cryptids, and River Monsters.
I'm looking to meet people who: Are looking to foster an open exchange of ideas, mostly. I don't expect people to identify with, or comment on everything I post. Everyone is different and I find it interesting being able to learn from others. I'm a married, white cis-het female, but I consider myself an ally and I'm pretty open to everyone, really.
My posting schedule tends to be: My journaling can sometimes be sporadic, although I have been trying to post at least a couple times a week.
When I add people, my dealbreakers are: I don't really have many dealbreakers, although I'd prefer not to deal with those who are heavily alt-right, extremely conservative, etc. I understand centrists to a degree, although I'm probably pretty far on the left side of the spectrum. Pretty much anyone who has hard and fast views to the extreme that they are unable to empathize with others in either direction, we probably just wouldn't relate well then.
Before adding me, you should know: I've already stated that I have alot of animals, if you don't really like reading about them, you may not really enjoy some of my content. Also, I have snakes and I do post photos, so if you have a fear of them or do not like them, you may not want to view some of my entries, lol. I have no children and at this point I've come to realize I likely will not. So if you are a parent and mostly post about your young kids, I probably won't have much to add to your journal. I have nothing against children or those that have them, but I just don't have that experience and probably will not, which is something I'm still trying to adjust to. So, bonus points if you're childfree, mostly because I'm still trying to navigate that space and it would be nice to have someone else to relate to in this aspect.

Classic films, history and music are very present in my life. My son-in-law has a nice snake called Kellogg (a corn snake) and I have two cats who are litter sisters.

I would like to add you - I am also childfree but not a hater of children (sad that I feel the need to add that but there's just so many extremists -.-) and I love reptiles though I do not own any. I'm also left wing and enjoy metal/alternative music. (and Russian hip hop sounds intriguing!)
I used to study Library Sciences but had to drop out due to mental illness :( So I understand that one as well.
Am also a big reader and in general I think we'd get along.
