First addme post of 2023 from me. Yay!

Name: Nikolai, you can call me Niko.

 

 

Age: 33, but I don't act like it.

 

 

I mostly post about: My life, work, my fanfiction, general fandom posts, the band Rockapella.

 

 

My hobbies are: Writing, learning languages (I speak Russian and a little Icelandic, currently learning Ukrainian and Hebrew), old PC stuff from the '90s and 2000s, making YouTube content, roleplaying, messing around with AI because it's fun (and we need to get used to it, it's the future).

 

 

My fandoms are: LazyTown, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?, Rockapella (yes, we have a fandom, but it's very, very small), '90s pro-wrestling

 

 

I'm looking to meet people who: write as well, won't mind my random and sometimes mindless posts, interesting people in general, also like-minded people too.

 

 

My posting schedule tends to be: daily, if not weekly -- sometimes every other week, depends on how drained I am.

 

 

When I add people, my dealbreakers are: bigotry of any form is a huge dealbreaker, I don't add minors, anti-vaxxers and the like are also a dealbreaker. Trump supporters, alt-right peeps, and antisemites are also a huge effing dealbreaker; I don't like people that are like that.

 

 

Before adding me, you should know: I'm a shy, oddball Jewish transgender person who yells about fandoms and sometimes politics a bit too much. I try to be positive on my blog, but I do suffer from chronic pain and illnesses, and sometimes I need to vent. I also never shut up about my fandoms -- did I say that already? I don't know. 90s wrestling? Like early 90s or Attitude Era and the ratings war between WWE/F and WCW? Or yes to both? Also, I'm totally a Carmen Sandiego fan as well. Africa maps are the absolute worst.

OMG, those Africa maps... I swear they were nearly impossible to beat!

I wasn't allowed to watch WCW at my house... Or I think it was more we (see also: family who stayed over at my house during certain summers) all got loud at whatever time of night Nitro started. But I grew up watching the one-hour RAWs with Silk Stockings previews during that on USA. Ah, memories.

We watched a little WCW every so often at my house, but we were mostly WWF fans, haha. I remember those one hour RAWs well! SO much fun.
