Just joined today!
Hi everyone! Newbie here, but not new to journaling! I've been with Livejournal for years, but have this addiction with creating blogs and websites! LOL! I like how you can automatically cross-post your entries to Livejournal from here, too!
Anyway, lets get to me, so you'll know if you're interested in subscribing to my journal!
I'm 39, female, married, child-free, living in Southern Wisconsin. I've pretty much lived in this area all my life. Grew up six blocks away, from where I live now, in Northern Illinois! I like all kinds of music, but mainly 80's and 90's rock, country, and Eminem! I don't do much outside of the house, except go to church on Sundays and an occasional trip to Wal-mart or the grocery store. Mainly because I'm disabled with degenerative joints in the knees and I hate having to use a walker! I also have Bipolar II Disorder. I don't watch much TV, but when I do, it's NCIS, House, or Family Guy. I like to read, when I'm in the mood. I like reading Stephen King, Stephenie Meyer(yes, I liked Twilight, but I don't like the movies and the fandom), non-fiction, and self-help. I love learning about religions, even though I feel I have found the right religion for me, as a Latter-day Saint. I do respect all religions, though, and expect the same from others! I have four cats and two dogs, that I treat as if they were my kids! Yes, they are spoiled as they are my "furbabies!" I voted for Obama, but don't follow politics as much as I used to. I do have some opinions on things, but I don't debate politics. I learned that debating politics and religion is senseless for me. I love finding freebie offers on the internet and finding the best deal for products online! I love to shop, probably too much, but I blame that on the mania that comes with the bipolar! LOL! I don't hate the LBGT community and I support equal rights for them! I also don't like to condemn people for their lifestyles or what they do! As long as they aren't harming anyone, including themselves, then what right do I have to judge them? I'll also be posting mainly friends-only to my Dreamwidth journal!
You can be anyone of any religion or no religion, any age, married or not, kids or no kids, heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, etc. As long as you don't preach to me that my religion is wrong, etc, then all is good! I love learning about people!
Anyway, thanks for checking me out! Looking forward to making new friends! :)
