hi everyone, i've been on dreamwidth for a long time! but i've only used it as an archive for my writings. for the first time, i'm trying to move into the community here, so i'm looking forward to meeting new people and reading more posts.

I mostly post about: life updates, anime/games/books that ive consumed, original fiction, fanfiction

My hobbies are: writing, reading, gaming (PC and switch), watching anime/reading manga, listening to kpop, paper crafts

My fandoms are: jojo's bizarre adventure, though i'm not really super fandom right now! i'm more of a general fan of lots of anime, videogames, kpop, books, etc

I'm looking to meet people who: are friendly, open, and excited about their own anime, videogame, book fandoms. or write original fiction. or post about their general life. just looking to expand my worldview and my dreamwidth feed.

My posting schedule tends to be: sporadic (currently daily but it will be decreasing soon to sporadically weekly)

When I add people, my dealbreakers are: if >70% of someone's content is negative (venting is fine but i need more balance), elitists, jerks in general

Before adding me, you should know: it's a toss up on whether i'll use proper capitalizations or continue being a lowercase monster in each of my posts haha

I actually tend to use more proper ("proper" /s) punctuation in my entries nowadays, but as someone who became so known at my old job for writing in all lowercase most of the time, I will always respect this choice ♡

hi there! i'd love to be friend, it seems like we have a lot in common! i looked at your sticky and what stuck out is kiki's delivery service. you know how kids get this fixation on one movie and watch it like 200 times and their parents are sick of it? kiki's delivery service was THAT movie for me haha.

also i skimmed through your posts and seems like you tried to read A Magic Steeped in Poison (i liked that book, but i totally understand the DNF, because i almost dropped it at the beginning. it was kinda slow!) also you posted about the Steam sale??? love that. and you were thinking of learning korean? me too! my husband is from SK and that's all his parents speak so im chugging along and slowly learning.

so many things that spark my brain! im looking forward to seeing your posts in the future!

I love Kiki! I haven't had a chance to watch it recently because I misplaced my copies, but I have read the book. I didn't realize they changed the plot so much for the movie, but it's a rare case where I liked the movie better anyway lol. I'm also super stoked for the game it inspired, Koriko: A Magical Year.

I did look into resources for learning Korean but it's been tabled for the time being, unfortunately.

ooh i didn't know there was a book! i think the only one ive read out of Studio Ghibli's adaptions is Howl's Moving Castle and it's sequel (i love the author), but the movie is also still superb. i'll have to check out that game too. i just looked it up and the art looks gorgeous.

i too am a lowercase monster <3 i'm of the mindset that me as a person, using proper capitalization makes me sound kinda stern and just not my personality at all lol. i would love to be friends :o
