A hopeful post
Name: Lady
Age: Well over 25.
I mostly post about: This is my new-ish journal :] I had a livejournal from long ago, but heard of dreamwidth a little while back. Off subject a little haha! I will be posting about my creative endeavors, as well as some life endeavors. I will highly filter my ranty endeavors, though. If it's a particularly pointless rant, I will private that out, but mostly I want to keep my journal as peaceful, fun and light as possible.
My hobbies are: I cook, clean, organize, sew, finger knit, write, do patchwork, tie-dye and I play selective video games and phone games for stress relief -- Selective meaning that those games are mostly Switch titles and a few MMO's. I also love music, coffee, thrift/clothing shopping and collecting cute-sy stuffed toys!
My fandoms are: Fandom, for me, holds a different definition. Kind of. I'm not fond of fandom policing and other negative aspects like that. I enjoy talking about the things I like in posts and especially with others, but not in a negative sense. To me, a negative sense would be "My OTP is better than yours and makes more sense". I hope I'm making sense. I just wanna keep it light and fun!
I'm looking to meet people who: I'm not choosy, I will get along with many. But a plus would be creative folks and fellow Switch...game..enjoyers haha. I'd also like to befriend kind hearts and old-souls. My love and I often feel like we don't really "fit in" in todays world, so it'll be cool to befriend those who relate to that.
My posting schedule tends to be: Right now, it'll probably fall under twice a week. Gotta get used to my work schedules again and then I'll get into the habit of every other day.
When I add people, my dealbreakers are: I've ran into online bullies and hateful people online before so if you're mean to people online or you privately gossip about others, please don't ask to be friends. I want to keep a safe place on DW. Intolerance and extreme!conservatives are two big ones too. Finally and lastly, 2020 was, mentally, a very bad year for me, so I'm pro-vaccine and pro-masking
Before adding me, you should know: I'll sort it out a bit.
-I don't care for the political system, but if I had to assign my beliefs to anything, it would be liberal. I won't relate to those who often (or only) post about politics, I'm sorry.
-I have ADHD, depression, anxiety, and possible paranoia, so I will definitely understand and sympathize if your posts aren't always rainbows and sunshine. That's totally fine with me. I may write about mine here and there so please be understanding if I chose to write about it.
-While I'm a hetero cis-female, I'm an ally to the LGBTQ community. I feel that love knows no bounds and no one/no party should dictate who another person loves. I'm still learning terms so I hope I'm not sounding disrespectful in any way.
-Last but certainly not least, I live my life by "Treat people how you'd like to be treated". 'Nuff said.
