Me And Stuff
Name
I'm Nicky, also known by the names Eliki or Snowkitten in various other places. (Long boring story.) And Nightlights on here because that's the name I gave to my synth/synthwave project.
Age
Gen X, for better or worse. =^_^=
I mostly post about
Music, particularly synth music and 80s stuff. If you know of bands such as The Midnight, Timecop1983, Electric Youth, Henry Bucket And His Magic Boot Whistle, etc, that's synthwave. But generally I'll be likely to post about whatever happens to float into my empty head at any given moment.
My hobbies are
Making music, listening to music, writing, anime, reading (all sorts of stuff but graphic novels are a favourite), painting, PS4 games, gamebooks such as the Fighting Fantasy series.
My fandoms are
Synthwave, synthesizers, the 80s, Fighting Fantasy books, the Amiga computer (though not quite so much these days), Miraculous Ladybug, MLP G4. (Not as much as I used to, as I feel as though the fandom has somewhat left me behind now, but it's still a fun show. I still say Songbird should have been elevated to main character.)
I'm looking to meet people who
Have similar interests, though it's far from vital of course. (After all, it can sometimes be a good way to find *new* interests!) People who don't take things too seriously and are open to others not necessarily agreeing with them all the time, and who are willing to send me all their M&Ms. This is non-negotiable.
My posting schedule tends to be
No real schedule as such, just as and when.
When I add people, my dealbreakers are
The usual. No homophobic or racist stuff. No conspiracy nuts. (We all know the world isn't flat and that it's more like a Minstrel chocolate.) I am really not a fan of right wing stuff in any shape or form. Basically, no knobheads.
Before adding me, you should know
I *will* make regular demands for M&Ms. This must be complied with.
It may take me a while to reply or comment sometimes, as I'm not often online on evenings in particular. That's when I'm usually either watching doovds or reading or writing or stuff. But I do reply, so please just bear with me! :)
I'm generally very open minded and have the (hardly unusual) view that people can do/be whatever the heck they want as long as it does no harm to anyone else.
I'm not especially religious, so I can't really contribute anything there, but tied in with the above point, you do you. I hope there's something after this life, but logic seems to get in the way of me totally believing. However, I absolutely detest people mocking others for their religious beliefs so behave or I'll send the Groke after you.
