Pronouns: he/him/his/they/them/their/theirs

Age bracket: Late 30s

Geographical area: Central Texas

Interests: Anthropomorphic art, reading, writing, video games

Fandoms: I would say the furry fandom but don’t consider myself a fur due to negative experiences in said fandom. I don’t consider myself really to be part of any fandoms since more often than not they devolve into “hatedoms”.

What type of posts can we expect in your journal? Video game and book reviews, anthro art I’ve done or commissioned, as well as updates on my life, particularly about living with my toxic parents due to my financial inability to divorce them for the time, although I’ve been trying to get a higher-paying job. I’m fairly profane and liberally use the F-word, particularly regarding my parents, to warn prospective friends.

Anything else you'd like us to know? I’m high-functioning autistic and am incredibly touchy about many things, particularly American politics, towards which I’m incredibly apathetic (though I do vote), particularly due to the tendency of politicians to dehumanize one another, gaslight, invalidate others’ beliefs and opinions, and such (which really reminds me of my familial upbringing). I’ll acknowledge I was far-right when I first became eligible to vote (and am still adamant about certain things), but I’ve drifted significantly leftward with age, and would now consider myself moderately libertarian and slightly left-of-center. I’m Episcopalian as well, and would consider myself a Christian humanist and socialist. Whether I like to discuss politics depends on the rhetoric used (I try to adopt a diplomatic “wise monkey” approach in whatever political posts I may rarely make), and I don’t really like focusing on the politicians, given the degree of iconoclasm and idolatry that plagues U.S. politics.

If any of this resounds with you, I would definitely appreciate your friendship.

I'm adding you if that's all right. I don't post as much of my art as I ought, but I'm a furry myself (feathery, technically) and gamer. I don't talk much about politics, but I blather on about running a lot.

Haha for sure. I didn't watch too much of that show, but I definitely remember Donna lol.

I have observed the fandom to hatedom evolution so clearly.
It's upsetting and hurts. I'm still getting over the hatemail.
I am not even joking about that.
It was in my inbox just three days ago!
Then again.
I haven't been able to deliver on very many of my written promises, so perhaps it's just as well.

*sings over to her cat "Cora-chan, what are you doing?" and observes the cat is trying to pick out a colour from the Prismacolor gazillion-color pencil set we just got for this endangered species artwork* :DDD THAT IS A FUN PROJECT THEY'VE BEEN EMPLOYING ME TO DO PART-TIME WHEN I'VE NOT BEEN GRIEVING OVER THE DEATH OF MY HONOURABLE MOTHER

I don't mean to jump on your friends-me-post with pity-me-I-have-no-friends drama because I've got on this website mutual access to/from forty-two people! (That was delayed by my younger cat who knocked over my Adélie penguin book - I tried to shut her up by showing her some pictures from inside of it but she seemed more interested in the text. I guess she DOES know how to read then, wow!)
By David G. Ainley, The Adélie Penguin, Belwether of Climate Change - Columbia University Press, 2002.
That is all the necessary information for citation purposes. I have been informed so by English teacher after English teacher, but sometimes by political science profs too. They tend to have dyed-blond hair. I think it's best not to approach by more than 15 feet if at all possible.

I mean, it's better than all the WATER that she used to be knocking over on my books before this...
But then, fortunately, I was able to get into really clever places.
It all paid off in the end.

They WERE trying to re-teach me how to read a couple years back, but I didn't realise my cat was paying attention in the corner.

Maybe eventually I should join FurAffinity, I know I have a couple friends over there besides you.

Oh, I just noticed I have 42 friends, and there's supposed to be something nifty about the number 42.
