In addition to the above, I enjoy baking/cooking/setting off the smoke alarms, lego, museums, norse mythology, pilates & yoga, swimming.

My fandoms are:

Based on my understanding of fandom, I think it's only really Star Trek.
I'm a big fan of science fiction and steampunk, I enjoy the paranormal, some horror, I like vampires and zombies, and a good end of the world. Jules Verne and HG Wells are among my favourite writers, and I'm currently re-reading Gail Carriger's Parasol Protectorate series

I'm looking to meet people who:

are nice, I guess. I'm not really sure how to answer this. People with some similar interests would be great, I'm not particularly interested in romantic ~drama or fanfiction, but I love hearing about peoples lives.

My posting schedule tends to be: I'm hoping for somewhere between a couple of times a week and sporadic.

Thank you. I'm sure it's just a matter of getting the hang of it, I'm hoping with practice it'll be easier to find things to talk about and I'll find my voice. I'm looking forward to it though which seems to be the most important thing

Hi Tobias,

I'm Weronika and I'm 43, and new-ish to blogging myself. I had a LiveJournal for a few years from 2005-2010 but I barely posted and wasn't that active (and when I was, I wasn't blogging).

I self-identify as a goth (yes, we still exist!) And also love all things vampire, end-of-the-world, general apocalypse-type stuff, the paranormal, steampunk and horror. Zombies aren't my thing, but I have nothing against them either.

I think we might get along pretty well. I plan to post mostly about my day-to-day life.
