Non-binary writer seeks friends
Welcome to those of you who are making the move to DW from LJ! I kind of stopped posting on LJ back in 2008 for life reasons, but missed the community a whole lot. When I met up for happy hour with a real life friend and reminisced about the old days of LJ, ze told me about DW and I've been here ever since - albeit intermittently.
NAME: I pretty much stick to my username on here: vintagewitch
AGE: 33
PRONOUNS: they/she
INTEREST AND HOBBIES: I'm a writer! I write nonfiction occult stuff as well as fiction. I'm currently mapping out a novel. I am also a VORACIOUS reader - I currently have 5 books going. The "vintage" part of my name used to refer to vintage clothing, but I'm more of a vintage film person these days. I am also an analogue nerd - I keep several different paper journals, as well as analogue records. But for finding stuff, sometimes online is easier than handwritten. I am in exactly two fandoms - The Magnus Archives and Harry Potter (tho fuck JKR). I also am obsessed with folklore and mythology, especially Nordic stuff but lately have been doing more research into French Canadian folklore.

ANYTHING ELSE? I'm queer, disabled, and married to my non-binary spouse. I am considering switching careers and going into librarianship because I am passionate about information being freely and readily available. I have both public and friends-locked entries - currently debating how private I want to be on here, or if I want to use this journal as a way for people I know IRL to keep up with me as we prepare to move across the country.
