Looking for friends

I have recently stopped posting on LJ with everything that is going on and would like a few more friends and journals to read here at DW.

Female (not that it matters), retired in July of last year and still getting used to it. Married and husband G. is still working part time. And I have an Afghan Hound dog that I post photos of now and then.

Lots of interests going on here and would love to read about some of yours and/or just get a glimpse into others lives and share what I am up to.

We live in the Pacific North West of the US. Transplant here from Southern California in 2015 and we still might move again, so I write about that too.

I like to sew, work with textiles, water color, write, read and collage to name a few. Sometimes I will post about politics but I try not to get too sucked in. I have liberal beliefs and appreciate diversity and inclusiveness.

Welcome! I’m originally from the PNW but moved to the UK in the mid 2010s. Also into textiles (mostly in the form of knitting, spinning, and embroidery). Also into writing and reading. Currently really into reading cozy mysteries.

As a child, I went to a B&B with family friends and the owners had a bunch of Afghans, and I’ve loved them since XD


I post about daily life for the most part.
