NAME: belleweather 

AGE: 44? I think? I might be 43. Once you get past being the answer to life, the universe and everything, it kind of blends together.

INTERESTS & HOBBIES: Languages, genealogy, knitting and spinning (the spinning is new. Perhaps I will buy a fleece this spring?), cooking and fermenting and preserving things, writing, studying mythology and philology (but being lazy about it), photography, c-drama and k-drama, traveling (which, I guess is everyone's hobby, but I kind of do it for a living...) Gardening, when I have access to dirt to do it.

LOOKING FOR: I'd like to find new people and build up my reading page. I love different experiences and points of view, and am honestly not super-fussed about who writes about what or comments. I just want to voyeuristically peer into your life, but in a good way?

ANYTHING ELSE?: Lesse... I'm Jewish and despite being not orthodox am relatively serious about it. I have a gender non-conforming kid who is awesome. I'm in an open relationship, but rarely post about that because it's possibly the most boring thing about me. I mostly write about pretty quotidian life stuff. I'm an American overseas working in international relations so that's a lot of work, being bad at being an expat, eating and cooking, and (pre-COVID and hopefully in future?) vacation pictures. (Right now it's more angst than I would like but that's what you get living on NATO's eastern flank at the moment.)

For context since I don’t expect you to remember me, I’m an American who when I last was connected to you lived in London. We have since settled in the Forest of Dean. Things we still have in common are knitting, spinning, gardening, mythology, living abroad, being in our early 40s, and having children (well, child in my case).

I also used to live overseas for several years, though it hasn't been for a while, and I have young baby (~10 months) that I write a lot about.

Nooooo... and sadly, our Purim party is tomorrow. Either I'm going to have to give everyone kimchi and rice, or I can just drop them by my friends houses on the actual day, right? It'll be a bigger surprise that way.
