I just moved here from LiveJournal were I lived for 20 years-20 days. I'm retired and I live in downtown Seattle. Just me and my cat, Biggie, who bites me often but is a great cat anyway.

I write often but my journal is 99% open to the public. My profile is current and offers up details about me.  So you can see for yourself if you'd like to subscribe.  (I'm still trying to suck in the last week from live journal but most of it is there.) 

I'd like to find new people to add to my reading page. If you just check that 'access' box, I promise to be good. And if you ever want me gone, just uncheck it no questions asked no judgement made.

Hi Susan, I seem to remember you from LJ, maybe my friend Aellia's journal (rip) and friends Ozswede and Idahoswede? I left LJ a few years ago after joining in Jan 2003, and no longer have a journal there. We are a very similar age - I am 71 and I could be called a bit of a geek. I'll add you if that is okay?

I was on LJ for many years then cut ties & moved to DW permanently a few years ago.

I lived in WA state for a couple years over 20 years ago lol.

I'm a longtime married gal with 3 grown children & 4 grandchildren. I basically just write about my life. Would like to get to know you :) Add?

I feel like our paths have crossed before (I may have had a different username, I’ve been using LJ/DW since around 2000/1 but changed my username a few times along the way), and we have some people in common (including my RL best friend sigelphoenix although she doesn’t DW anymore).

I’m in my 40s, originally from Seattle but moved to the UK in 2016. Always happy to hear dispatches from Seattle geeks!
