About Me: I'm 28 and married. I'm also bisexual and polyamorous. I'm pagan, primarily into inclusive Norse heathenry. I'll probably mention tarot at some point. And maybe general witchcraft. Probably. Also, this journal may be brand new, but this isn't my first time on DW, and I spent time on the LiveJournal of yore, and I miss it.

Interests: Reading. I'm currently into romance novels, but I love scifi and fantasy books too. I also like to say I'm a writer, but I have the worst time finishing things. (World-building is my jam, though!) I'm trying to study poetry, and I might post some poetry or original fiction, not sure yet. I also really like nerdy things like DnD and Magic: the Gathering, even though I don't actually get to play much. In spite of rarely playing, I collect ttrpg game books I find interesting. I also like art of all kinds. My current art fixation is pixel art. I don't post about fandom things often, but feel free to peruse my interests on my profile.

Content Warnings: I grew up in a military family, served and married a military man. I'm just putting it out there because various aspects of that are going to come up in my journal, and I know that's a deal breaker for a lot of people online these days. I'm also working on personal weight loss, so if hearing about that in my journal would make you uncomfortable, you may need to pass as well.

Looking For: I'm looking for friends. People to talk to. IRL all of my friends are in different states now, and even when there wasn't a pandemic I wasn't much for going out to bars or meetups, you know? I was always the introvert that got adopted, and made friends through other friends. But since the husband and I are both hermits, that kind of stymied the friend making once our friends all moved away. I don't guarantee I'll comment on every single post you'll make, but I also wouldn't expect that from you either. I'm not a daily poster, and I'm a no pressure kind of friend, but I do hope for some interaction.

Oh, and my content warning? Well, I do post a lot about my personal life, and that includes: lightly complaining about school, talking about my mental health, my cat, my interests, fandoms (which include a lot of fangirling, if you are okay with that).

Not put off by the military stuff unless it means endless politics ranting, because that’s what I come to DW to get away from (looking at you, FB). But my dad is retired career Air Force and then worked at a military base (as a civilian) as his second career, so I familiar with that world.

Hey! I've been interested in paganism and heathenry for about 20 years, I enjoy tarot and keep telling myself I really need to make it more of a habit (especially if I'm going to continue purchasing new decks...) and I like to read and game as well. Weight loss is something I really need to put effort into again too.

Journal has mostly been about day-to-day life the past...long while, I guess. I've had a pretty tumultuous couple of years and I'm trying to restore balance in my life after the end of a serious but dramatic relationship, the death of a parent, and a new job. Mental health comes up somewhat frequently, although a lot of it is because I'm trying to be more open about my depression and stop treating it like a dirty secret. If that's a deal breaker, I get it.

I've used this for quite some time. I /had/ a techy following, but now I mostly focus on my daily life and musings as a creative writer. My friends tend to be on the schoolish side, so if that's not for you, I totally get it. I hope you enjoy your time on DW. I like it here.

we have plenty in common. I'm a witch, I'm in a polyamorous relationship with two men and yes, they're in love as well. I'd love to hear you talk about tarot, and witchcraft. I'm a budding witch to be honest, just throwing myself into the fold of things. I grew up heavily Christian, but my mind come wandering to the mystical, and the beauty of the universe, nature, all things supernatural and paranormal.

I don't mind the military thing, I grew up military and am military. Never been on the field, but I'm in the science department. I don't really have a lot of things going on right now, so no new posts but I comment daily and love hearing about other people's lives.
