Looking for new friends on here. Not too many people that I follow update anymore, so I need new journals to read to keep me interested in the site.

My name's Jaleesa, and I'm 22-years old. I'm atheist, and while no mention of religion should find its way into this blog, there may be a lot of things I'll talk about in here that could bother anyone who's into their faith. I don't want to disturb anyone who is religious, and don't want to be disturbed either, so if you think reading me is going to bother you on that basis you probably shouldn't add me.

I'm from Atlanta, GA. I love Atlanta sports. I'm a huge Braves fan, and enjoy watching all our other teams too...except for the Falcons, I don't really watch them, but everything else I enjoy.

I'm currently unemployed and out of school, both of which should be changing soon.

I'm starting to get into my local hardcore scene here, and stuff on that is going to show up in my entries a lot. Goes without saying that I love hardcore music and hardcore punk, really every music genre related to punk. It's something I've been into for nearly a decade, though I'm just now figuring out my specific scene, and my interest in it makes up a large part of who I am. Anyone into that shit should add me.

I have active mental illness issues, and that's another large part of who I am whether I like it or not. It would be nice to friend other people who have these issues as well, we'll have a lot in common and hopefully a lot to learn from each other.

Hello, I see you're relatively new to Dreamwidth so welcome to the site and consider yourself added. I keep this journal to express my darker, more twisted side.

I have a much broader music taste than just punk, and I don't knowingly have mental health issues. But I am anti-religious, especially being force-fed Jesus at every turn.

My musical tastes are actually fairly broad too. I love music too much for punk to be all I listen to. Punk is just my heart and soul. :) Adding you back.

Welcome to Dreamwidth! You'd be very welcome to subscribe to me, though at the moment I have more people to read than I can keep up with properly, so I may just skim new entries. I'm Christian, but am not easily offended. yvi can probably point to most of the atheist community around here if you want to meet more of them.

You may find disability a good start for mental illness stuff - there's a good community around here in terms of that, at least among most of my circle.

"Mental illness issues" is a pretty broad category, so I don't know if we have anything in common there. My issues are mostly related to things like anxiety and autism.

Added you back! My issues are pretty broad there as I've been dealing with all of my issues for most of my life, so I often forget to label what they are. End result of receiving nearly every psych diagnosis known to man, I guess. :) Anxiety has always been the foremost issue, I guess, since my anxiety started as a child and years before the depression showed up.
