Seeking Friends on Dreamwidth
I recently got into Dreamwidth since LiveJournal is in some respects a wasteland, especially among the furry fandom, with which I'm somewhat involved, particularly in regards to my artwork, which I occasionally link to on my blog. I'm a high-functioning autistic adult from Central Texas who has a passion for videogames and game reviewing, particularly of Japanese RPGs, although I delve occasionally into Western roleplaying games. I'm also a big bigworm, read mostly fantasy and science-fiction, and post reviews of what I'm reading as well. I'm mainly seeking likeminded individuals, with the only real dealbreaker being regular political posts, since I'm somewhat apathetic when it comes to the topic, especially due to certain unfortunate occurrences in the blogging world.

I've played a dozen or so Pokémon games, and while they do have good aspects, there are things I wish the franchise would do differently, and at times they require a bit of foresight when it comes to selecting Pokémon to use. Personally, Megami Tensei is my go-to demon/monster-collection series (and MegaTen had the mechanic well before Pokémon), and I recently played and beat Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster, from which the icon I'm using here is from, although you probably wouldn't want to go into it blind, since there are some things you need to be aware of to enjoy it more.
I received the classic autism diagnosis as an infant, and it was changed to high-functioning autism in junior high.
The occurrences happened over a decade ago when I was a lot more involved in the furry fandom than I was today (although I still do anthro art), when I said something nasty in a LiveJournal entry that led to me having a hard time in the fandom and even an account hacking, although I've learned from the incident and moved on.
